Elite Air Systems Reviews (3)

We are currently working with the finance company who owns this contract to cancel the transaction and relieve the customer from any financial responsibilityThey have informed us it could take a few days to finalize

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Elite Air Systems did the demo in our home July 15, 2016. I [redacted] called on July 18, 2016(per the three days stating in the agreement) to have them pick up the product. They agreed and said they would have their representative return to pick up the product.  They did not come to my home to pick up their product instead Elite Air went ahead and sold our contract to a finance company after my wife and I explicitly stated we did not want the product or to be tied up financially to said product or contract. Further, despite insistence on the training and professionalism of their representative, said representative did insist us keep the product for at least the initial three days. Out of the numerous phone calls we had not only with Elite Air Systems but also with the predatory finance company they sold our contract to. It seems suspicious at best that the only recorded conversation is one where under veiled language they have my wife parrot information regarding the contract and use that as a pretext to an agreement. This is very poor and unethical business. I [redacted] not only stand on my original complainant but also strongly want what is stated as the outcome complete release from the contract all financial obligation. The product is here for the company to retrieve and has not been in use in the five months since it was supposed to be picked up by Elite Air Systems.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] did schedule an appointment with Elite Air Systems on Friday, July 15 not July 18th as stated in his complaint. They were referred by Mr. [redacted], who had previously purchased one of our machines. Our representative went to the [redacted]'s residence on Friday, July 15th and did a...

presentation of our air and room cleaning system.  They agreed to purchase the system under the terms that their payments wouild not begin until October of 2016.  They filled out and signed a credit application and purchase agreement, which by MO state law, gives them 3-business days to cancel the agreement that was dated for 7-20-16 due to the weekend. Our representatives are thoroughly trained regarding the terms of our legal binding contracts, and would NEVER INSIST a customer just keep the product for 3-days just to try it out.Unfortunately, Mrs. [redacted] was in a car accident that week which resulted in them second guessing their decision to purchase our system. We did receive a call from Mrs. [redacted] on Monday, July 18th, explaining the situation. I told her I understood and that sometimes things happen to cause a customer to cancel their contract. She expressed how much she loved the system and did not want to return it, but was worried about being able to afford it, not knowing how much her insurance was going to cover on her accident.Because of how much she expressed her desire to keep the system, we gave her the option to defer those payments out further from October of 2016, to January of 2017. She thought that sounded great and would discuss it with her husband. We never heard back from Mrs. [redacted].That night, Snap Line Services, the finance company that handles the loan of the agreement, called Mrs. [redacted] to verify the contract. This consists of verifying they purchased a machine, the amount of the monthly payment and when their payments would begin. This is a legally recorded call that Mrs. [redacted] agreed to all the terms of the agreement.Months had passed before we got a call from Mrs. [redacted] stating they did not want to keep the unit. Although they were months passed the rescission date, we agreed to come pick up the unit, as our number one priority is customer satisfaction. Our representative contacted Mrs. [redacted] and made arrangements to meet at her residence. He drove all the way to Jerseyville, IL within the hour to pick up the machine, and nobody was home. They failed to make the goods available as stated in their contract. We tried to contact them for several days following the attempt to pick up the machine and never had any calls returned. So now, over 5-months later, and the fact that their payment is due, we receive this complaint from Mr. [redacted]. We have not had any communication from him until now, as everything was discussed with Mrs. [redacted], who is the primary applicant on both the credit application and purchase agreement. Although we do not feel any legal requirement to cancel this purchase agreement, we are discussing the options we have with the finance company who owns the contract, to relieve the [redacted]'s from any financial responsibility. Should the finance company agree to letting them return the unit, the contract states; "that it must be in substantially as good condition as when received."
