Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. Per the attached documents, you will see that I have an invoice for the credit for labor and system. I am not requesting 100% of labor charges to be reimbursed. I have only requested what I was informed for the portion of work that was not completed by the installer. I feel it is sad that a company that has been in business this long would attempt to withhold funds to a customer for labor that was not performed

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. The response provided is simply not a correct reflection of the events and outcome of the work and services provided by Modia.Without repeating myself from this original complaint, the following items are reiterated:The final configuration (programming) of the controlproduct (responsibility of Modia -independent of the electrician) was not completed to our specification or satisfactionThe electrician, recommended by Modia for which we paid separately (and we are not contesting the charges) left certain items not to our satisfaction (e.ga three way switch as wired by the builder was deactivated by the electrician, thereby not allowing us to control lights from out back garage structure).3. When Modia considered the job complete, they never programmed the system to allow us to control the system via a smart phone (this was later done by another vendor)4. This other vendor also spent considerable time reprogramming the configuration and the lighting schemes - this should have been done by Modia prior to completion of the job.5. I have email (at my office server) that indicates Modia seeking for our agreement that the work was done to our satisfaction to which I repleted more than once that we were not satisfied, and the work was not completed as promised. In addition, I specifically told Mr B*** that we were not happy with this wok. I see no way for Modia to make the claim that they were not aware of our dissatisfaction.Based on their response, it certainly appears that they do not want to take responsibility for their actions and rather, play the blame game. We have moved on to another vendor and have spent money to get things right. I can live without Modia and their assistance at this point. I was giviing them the opportunity to "make things right." Furthermore, based on their work and repose to an attempt to leave a customer with some degree of satisfaction, I can not and will not recommend Modia to anyone for this type of work.

so that she would only have to use one remote for the entire system. To mount the TV we ran several cables through the wall to her other components. We did not use one piece that was on her original order which was a surge protector for the TV. That was the only thing that was not done or not used. This piece was $159, and was the credit she received of the $170 odd dollars with tax back on her card. Her job was 100% finished by our technicians and programmer. She is asking for installation fees back, when we completed all of the work at her home. We did return the surge protector promptly after the installation was done that day.
