She also said that the bolts were cross threaded, not that they may have been cross threadedShe also stated that her mechanic tried to loosen the bolt and could not because it had been cross threadedI went back to her and asked her to repeat the disgnosis which I wrote down in front of herThe technician at the other place told me there was nothing wrong with my carThey gave me information Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 9, 2016/09/23) */ Again, we are sorry you felt like you were being taken advantage ofIt is our understanding you were shown by the JBC manager where there was brake fluid under your vehicleIt was the managers professional opinion that it was due to a cross thread issueYou stated your technician did not see a cross thread issue, this may be the case and it is possible we made a wrong diagnosis, but in no way would we condone one of our employees to purposely selling an unneeded repairIf we had proceeded to make the correction we felt was needed we would have been able to see for sure whether we were correct or not, if we had ultimately determined it was not due to a cross thread we would have got your consent for further diagnosis to ultimately find the cause Your situation will be used as a training opportunity in how we present ourselves to our customers in future

Review: Greystone Programs, Inc. brought a 2011 Toyota Sienna to Elite Auto Body, 24 Violet Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY on Friday, October **, 2013 for repairs to the interior of the vehicle. On Monday, October **, 2013 Greystone was informed by the owner of Elite Auto Body that the vehicle had been stolen over the weekend. The stolen vehicle was involved in an accident in Westchester County and ultimately returned to Greystone. Greystone brought the vehicle to another body shop based on Elite inability to protect assets on their property. Greystone's insurance company, AIG, paid for the repairs to the vehicle less the $1000 deductible that Greystone paid. AIG since then has been asking Elite Auto Body for their insurance company information so subrogation can be made by Elite Auto Body since the vehicle was stolen from their property due to their negligence.Elite Auto Body has not responded to any of the five requests by AIG insurance. Greystone Programs, Inc. is a not for profit serving developmentally disabled adults and children. We find the lack of responsiveness on the part of Elite Auto Body to be a travesty. All Greystone is asking is that they provide information on their insurance coverage.Desired Settlement: Greystone simply requests that Elite Auto Body provide Greystone's insurance company, AIG with their insurance information. This will enable the subrogation claim by Greystone to move forward.
