Review: The mechanic replaced the clutch in my 2002 Mini Cooper, and won't admit to damages caused in the process. Due to his incompetence and ignorance of Mini motors, he broke the Air Cleaner, bent the hood and scratched the body in several places. In the process, he broke the fork in the engine which could not be replaced and he repaired with a weld.Desired Settlement: [redacted] should be held liable for the damages incurred in his shop.
I just came across this, it's actually funny. You towed in a destroyed mini that wasn't operable. We called and notified you that while we were replacing your clutch [that you requested] we came across the other problems that you mentioned. You informed us that you could not afford to replace the fork and you requested to weld it. It's unfortunate that people like yourself blame others for your misfortune. As for the cosmetic damage, the vehicle looked like it had been parked at a junk yard for years prior to arrival.
