the New Honey Maple Cabinets were delivered on September 11, we got an
agreement to start on October 12th due to a complaint to *** ***
for the Maple cabinet grains, prior to signed anything they visit or showroom
twice, and I personal went to meeting them with our cabinet door at their
houseWe have a display in our showroom for all our cabinet line that we offer
but they want to do some more re-search about honey maple cabinet after cabinet
arrivedSo we have to stop start working until they release and give us their
approval.Cabinet ConstructionForevermark Cabinetry is constructed from several pieces of solid
wood and wood veneers on plywoodDifference in grain pattern and color should
be expectedColor differences in wood are the result of variations in minerals
found in the soil native to the tree’s originAbsorption of these minerals
will vary by tree or parts of said treeIn addition, color changes can be
experiences due to different mineral streaks, and darkening will ageIt is the
natural beauty of wood exhibit these characteristics and they will be present throughout
your cabinetry.After they gave us they approval on the cabinet, we star

was from 12:pm to 7pm we started removed the existing cabinet and next day
we installed the new cabinet, October 15th install the granite
countertops, sink, faucet, plumbing, sealer, they star using their kitchen
after days that we startedOut team: cabinet installers (2), Granite
countertops (2) plumber (1) Crown Molding installer (1) Unfortunately we got
short material for crown molding and we have to other some more, my installer
made a mistake to installing the crown molding we did upside downAnd we offer
to reorder complete new set of crown molding and re installed for them, and
they accept that when we place an order took weeks to arrived the new crown molding
due to out of stock, as soon they came we schedule to complete our job with
themWe did everything that ** *** asking to do, one shelving came unfinished
on a little side, but all the shelving are like that we offer to put a veneer
matching color for them and look very good.** ***wants an extra discount of #10000- but unfortunately
we were not able to do, original when we singed the agreement we offer $
discount reduction of fee already, all the cabinet are in very good condition,
we pleased for new crown molding and take care every little detail for them, we
can not gave them more discounts.On January 10, we had a meeting with ** *** and he paid
balance of $4000-cash with no objection or complaint we told him that ** ***
want additional discount of $10000- that we are not able go gave them that we
completed everything as they requested and approvalAnd he paid the balance in

Review: In Aug 2015 we signed a contract for Elite Countertops to upgrade our kitchen with new cabinets and counter-top and because of the many imperfections of the cabinets, staff and poor workmanship the job has just been completed after 5 months. First the color we chose "Honey Maple" didn't turn out the way we thought it should, the builders of the cabinets the owner deals with did sloppy work and there had to be do overs constantly. The personnel she hires created 4 different people on the job at different times and the skills are not good. The wood was splintered, the crown molding was put upside down and had to be re-ordered and the supervision of the workers the owner promised at the time of the contract never happened. Shelving didn't match and was put in wrong creating re-do on just about 90% of the job. The owner couldn't even give us warnings of scheduled work to be done, she would just text and say her crew would be there the next day. We are trying to fix up our home and money isn't easy to come by now-a-days. We felt she should of knocked off another $1000 for the job, but she didn't budge or make any comment to any of our text messages complaining about the type of work her staff did. We are sure that something will go wrong with these cabinets and we have learned a very valuable lesson and that is to check around on the reputation and or prior complaints about a company before laying our money down. We would not recommend this company for any type of cabinetry work. A very poor grade in overall service.Desired Settlement: Alert posted for future homeowners looking to do installation cabinetry and counter tops. Cheaper in overall cost does not mean one gets expert service.
