Elite Crete is a scammer
Elite Crete product installed around our pool in December, 2021. We paid $7,000 to Anthony J (A'Corn Home Improvements, LLC) certified installer of the Elite Crete product. Product did not adhere properly and started lifting and chipping with pieces falling in our pool impacting our filtration system. It is obvious the product installation was faulty and the product does not come close to what as represented to us or as depicted on the website. Anthony J came back, inspected the results of his job and stated "covered by warranty." Elite Crete representative John K stated product not applied properly and that the certified installer failed to purchase materials for filling cracks, etc., and not warranted. We specifically told the certified installer our main reason for purchasing the coating was to have a cooler surface to walk on around our pool This coating holds the heat resulting in a hotter surface than what we previously had. Elite Crete and certified installer non-responsive. Elite Crete states no market interaction with us because we paid the certified installer instead of the company.

Does not bring out color
So disappointed - I believe the contractor should have added reflector enhancer to the sealer to bring out the color. My main concern at the beginning was to bring out the color. Now I have a blotch colors all over the entire area where the sealer was applied.

Steer Clear!
I have NEVER posted a critical write-up on ANY manufacturer or contractor. However, I have had such a bad experience with Elite Crete Systems that I am compelled to share the details. I do want to say that the local distributer, John K has been outstanding in his efforts to resolve the dispute. Without his efforts, a lawsuit would have surely resulted. Kudos to John Keller!
To keep things concise, here are the facts. For more detail, including photos, e-mail me at [redacted].
The project involved applying an Elite Crete epoxy coating over artwork on my Hanger floor. Elite Crete Systems sells their product through a network of distributors that sell to independent contractors who have been "certified" to sell Elite Crete products as installers. After reading their website, any reasonable consumer would believe that the contractor is held to tight standards and trained, as Elite Crete maintains that their reputation is at stake on every job is completed. I hired one such "certified" contractor and the end results were, to be polite, disastrous: There were areas that never cured and remained tacky; severe yellowing in areas not even exposed to UV light; variations in surface quality across the floor; lack of hardness (I now have tire tread prints permanently pressed into the clear!) Again, I have a great deal of praise for the distributor who was responsive in visiting the site and brokering a refund from the contractor of everything I paid. However, attempts to reach Elite Crete sk them for guidance were ignored. A polite e-mail sent to the president, Ken F did not even yield an acknowledgement of receipt. Several phone calls a week or so after that were placed. On two calls, the phone was intentionally set down and left. Each time I called, another voice would answer, so I am left to conclude elite Crete may not employ a receptionist. Three messages were left for Mr. F yet he never returned my call. On one the final call, the individual who answered the phone, who first attempted to transfer me to Mr. F, came back on the line and said he was unable to speak at this time. When asked politely when would be a better time, the response was "never, he will never speak to you sir. Good-by now". After reading some of the reviews on this company, I suspect Elite crete is not the established manufacturing company they hold themselves out to be. Several reviewers suggest the company does not in fact manufacture their own product as they claim. Clearly, my experience has been that there is no quality control of their "certified installers". Looking up the address on google earth, you can see Elite Crete occupies a very plain pre-fab building in an industrial park:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.4579855,-87.0158104,108a,20y,41.68t/data=!3m1!1e... /> Treating a customer as I have been treated is not in keeping with a solid company that offers a quality product or service, cares about their customers, and wishes to maintain their reputation. I am fortunate to have discovered all this on a relatively small residential project where my exposure was of limited scope.
