On November 5, 2010, [redacted] requested that the downspout by his front door be moved to the corner of the house. The downpipe was being moved further away from a large overhang that has sagged over time. [redacted] was aware that this was a problem area, but still wanted the pipe moved. As expected, the water did overflow at this large overhang. Water and ice will sit in the eavestrough at this sagging corner. In March of 2011, [redacted] was angry and frustrated at the outcome of the pipe being moved and was looking for any type of remedy for the issues. [redacted] It would be far enough from his walkway where the pooling water was, but may cause an "eye sore" from the street and from his living room window. I suggested a fancy terrace to help with the appearance of a downspout. I told [redacted] that when we decided what he would like to do, Elite would install the downspout at no additional charge. I had not heard form [redacted] until the fall of 2012 and again in the spring of 2013. Both times [redacted] complained about the problem area and I again reminded him of our agreement and what Elite was able to do.As for the back downspout, we were out November 29, 2011 to rectify. If there is still some sort of issue with the back downspout, the complaint to the Revdex.com is the first I've heard of it.I understand [redacted]'s frustration with the leaking and pooling water. [redacted]'s house is not the only house in Regina that has shifted and has a sagging roof. On [redacted] alone there are several houses that have the same issue at their front corners. Those home owners have done what [redacted] set out to do in 2008. Because [redacted] is the home owner and knows his house best, he needs to decide where the downspout is best located to compensate for the structural issues. As [redacted] and I agreed to in March 2011, Elite will accommodate to and install the downspout where he sees fit.
