To whom it may concern, Elite Estate Services is disappointed to hear of the dissatisfaction of its recent clientWe treat customer service as a number one priority and strive to leave every client
and customer completely satisfied As it pertains to this current complaint I appreciate the opportunity to respondAs stated in the client’s complaint the modems were left at the property during the in-home estate saleThe Comcast equipment remined on the property and unsold the entire duration of the sale processAs estate liquidation professionals, we are very aware that cable/modem equipment is “rented” and not to be soldWe have conducted hundreds of estate liquidations most of which contain similar equipment and have never accidently or intentionally sold and/or misplaced like itemsAs stated, there has been absolutely no refusal to communicate with this client in regards to this matter as we have exchanged phone conversation and multiple text messages since the conclusion of the estate liquidation I have personally contacted Comcast regarding this issue and they have advised me to secure a Modem ID (MAC) from the equipment in questionWith this information, they will be able to determine if the equipment is “active” and if it is in use under an unauthorized accountUnfortunately, I am obviously unable to obtain this information due to not being an authorized user under said accountDuring my time at the property I personally witnessed multiple people other than myself have access to the propertyI was also informed by the client that a “another crew” was used to “finish the job” Simply stated there were many people involved in this process and cannot not help but feel like the easy target for the responsibility of said misplaced/lost Comcast equipment I would also like to address the apparent dissatisfaction on the client’s behalf in regards to the outcome of the saleI would like to state that there were very clear and defined expectations set that were not only verbally agreed to and understood but also contractuallyAll our fees and costs for conducting an estate liquidation are clearly stated in our contract which I can promptly provide a fully executed copy of if requested or neededWe always urge our potential clients to fully and carefully review our liquidation contract as to avoid any confusion or misunderstandingI would assume this client used due diligence as they have made myself aware of their extensive legal background on multiple occasions In conclusion, I would like to make it very clear that if negligent and or responsible for selling equipment that should not have been sold I would take full responsibility and fully reimburse client for all loss incurredTo be accused of being a “shady estate sale company” is not only slanderous but could not be further from the truthI stand firmly behind the fact that negligence was not present and nothing was sold that should not have beenThe Revdex.com is a very useful tool for consumers and I am disheartened that our A+ rating and good standing is being jeopardized by a fallacious claimI will not be bullied or threatened into monetary compensation for something I am not responsible for I urge this client to continue investigation with Comcast into this matter and hope for nothing but the best outcomeMy sincere sympathy goes out to this client in their difficult dealing with their cable providerOur goal is resolve this matter as quickly as possibleAs to assist in the resolution of this matter I request to be provided with the Modem ID (MAC) of the equipment in question as to have a reference while again personally contacting ComcastI am willing to work in conjunction with the client to attempt to determine the status of the current equipmentPlease let it be understood that my access is extremely limited in this capacity due to not being listed on said account and I will need full cooperation of client to make progress Regards, Christopher ***
