Terrible company, had fence built by complete hacks. Poor craftsmanship. Gates sagged so bad that 2 days after installing they could not be opened. After dozens of no shows and promise's of "tomorrow" I have decided to warm everyone to use a reputable company.. don't make the mistake I did. Some times giving the small company and opportunity is not the right choice. Been waiting since July to have it repaired

We had a similar horrible experience with Elite Landscape and Mr. R as another reviewer.
We paid a sizable deposit for materials for a fence project in late spring 2017. The firm indicated they would start work in early August, even ordered Digger's Hotline markings just prior. They never showed up. At least a dozen attempts to reach them via calls and texts were unsuccessful. A letter to the indicated business address, which turned out be Mr. R' father's insurance agency did receive a reply from Mr. R' indicated business partner, Deanna K (last name not clear) that the business had suspended due to a family emergency and deposit would be refunded. It wasn't refunded. Commenced a small claims action in fall, which received no response and a judgment entered against the firm and Mr. R. We are now pursuing judgment collection efforts.

July 19, 2017 Signed contract with Charles ***, doing business as Elite Fencing and Landscaping, LLC, for fence installation at ***. Due date on contract states August 19, 2017.

July 23, 2017 I wrote check to Elite Fencing and Landscaping, LLC in the amount of $1333.00 for down payment for fence installation.

July 27, 2017 Check cashed

August 8, 2017 I received a text message from Deanna ***, herein known as Charles ***’ partner, stating that fence would be installed the next day, August 9, 2017

August 9, 2017 I received a text message from Deanna ***, stating that the distributor missed some of the material for the fence and the materials would be in a few days and I would be notified.

August 16, 2017 I sent a text to Deanna to ask about update on the fence installation.

August 25, 2017 I sent a letter to Charles *** requesting the return of the $1333.00 down payment. I do not have a copy of this letter.

I did not hear from either Deanna or Charles until August 30, 2017.

August 30, 2017 I received a text message from Deanna stating that Charlie was dealing with a major family situation but they are up and going again. They have all the fence material and would like to get started soon. Another text stating that they would be back on track for the original install date the first week of September. I asked for a discount and they agreed to $1200 for the final payment after installation.

September 11, 2017 I sent a text to Deanna and Charlie asking for a date for the fence install.

September 18, 2017 I sent a text to Deanna and Charlie asking for a date for the fence install.

September 22, 2017 I sent a text to Deanna and Charlie asking about the fence installation and stating that it has been three weeks since I last heard from them.

September 26, 2017 I sent a text to Deanna and Charlie stating that it has been four weeks since I heard from them about the fence installation. I requested the return of my down payment in the amount of $1333.00 ASAP and preferably by Monday, October 2. I asked them to mail or drop off a money order or cashier’s check to my address. I also stated that I needed to move on and have a fence installed by another company.
September 30, 2017 I sent a text to Deanna and Charlie stating that I have found another fencing company to install a fence and asked for the return of the $1333.00 down payment.

October 16, 2017 I sent a text to Deanna and Charlie stating that I have not heard from them since August 30, 2016 and will be sending a letter to them requesting the $1333.00 down payment returned to me.

October 23, 2017 I sent a second letter (copy attached) to Charlie requesting the return of the down payment for the fence installation.
November 7, 2017 I sent a text to Deanna and Charlie stating that I completed a request with *** Call for Action and I received a call back stating they would take my case.

November 21, 2017 I sent a text to Deanna and Charlie stating that I found out online that I am not the only person they accepted a down payment from and did not produce a product and that his friend, Shawn, from ***. I stated I would take them to court.

November, 22, 2017 I received a text from Deanna and Charlie stating, “We have had time to meet with our team of lawyers and have our direction. You will be receiving your FULL deposit via certified mail on or before December 15th. Sorry for the inconvenience.

December 3, 2017 I sent a text to Deanna and Charlie stating that unless I receive a letter from their team of lawyers this week stating that I will be paid back, I will be filing in small claims court.

December 5, 2017 I received a call from *** that they are interested in pursuing my case. It was also recommended that I file a complaint with the *** and the ***.

I have also left several voicemail messages for Deanna and Charlie throughout this whole process inquiring about the fence installation.

We hired Elite Fence and Landscaping because they said they would be able to install our fence in July. We paid a little over half of the total bill upfront. They never showed up in July nor contacted us to tell us there was a delay. After asking them in August when they would be coming, they eventually got back to me and said they would be here mid-August. They never showed nor contacted again, so again I reached out and had to contact them multiple times to finally get a response. They set another date and never showed nor contacted us to tell us they weren't coming, so again I had to reach out multiple times until I finally got another response and another date that fell through again with no forewarning. Just when I finally couldn't take it anymore and threatened to file a complaint because they weren't responding to tell me why they didn't show or contact me AGAIN, they finally said they'd come, and this time, they actually came. It was September 16th. They put in almost all the posts and said they'd be back to put in the remaining 2 posts and hammer the fence up. I waited to hear from them, and they texted me on October 1st saying they would be here that week to finish the job. They never came nor contacted me to say they weren't coming. Finally on October 12th I asked when they would be coming, and the next day they said they would come early that week. Another week goes by and they don't show or contact me to say they aren't coming, so on October 20th I reached out again asking when they were actually going to come. I never heard back, so today, October 23rd, I sent multiple messages asking when they would be back and saying how it has now been three months since they told us the fence would be finished, and we have obviously been more than understanding. I told them multiple times that what was worse than all the delays was the lack of communication and complete disregard for our time and plans. I hate to have to file this complaint because I trusted them, but as they have still not responded, nor come to complete the job, I don't know what else to do. I can't keep chasing after them and being taken advantage of anymore. I expect them to come finish the job this week.

I received an email through the Revdex.com website in regards to the complaint I filed against Elite Fence and Landscaping. I just wanted to let you know that despite my very best efforts to get hold of the company, I have not heard from them at all. I even went so far as to offer to pay for the materials (even though the down payment I gave them was for materials) if they just please came and finished the job. This week we got quotes from different contractors that affirmed just how much they stole from us by taking half the money for the entire fence and only installing most of the posts. We ended up hiring a contractor that gave us the lowest bid, and it still ended up costing us 1200 dollars more than what we had agreed to pay Elite Fence and Landscaping since they took our 1400 hundred dollars and did barely any of the work, leaving us with no materials or anything. I'm not sure what we can do to get them to pay us the 1200 hundred dollar difference, but please let me know what the next steps would be to getting our money back.

Charles "Chuck" "Charlie" R III scammed me out of over $3500. When I cancelled the project due to poor communication, timing, and unprofessionalism, he removed his business page where we had been communicating and ignored my phone calls. He has not returned my deposit and I won a small claims judgement against him. He is currently in contempt of court as he has refused to pay or fill out the proper paperwork. He is a thief.

Completed a contract on June 9, 2017 to have a 6ft privacy fence installed on our home property. A deposit was made in the amount of $2900. As of July 23, 2017 Elite Fencing's Facebook page had disappeared. Mr. continued communicating with us via text message. On August 27, 2017 we received this message, "We can get the order in for material tomorrow. My guess mid September if that works. We have our line up and I believe that's were you will best fit in". No further communication has occurred. We have attempted further text messages and phone calls with messages and received no response. Looking for a refund of deposit since it does not appear that work will be completed.
