I witnessed one of their service techs passing approximately vehicles while driving on the shoulder of west bound I-between College Ave and Waring Rd Only after a vehicle pulled in front of him and blocked the shoulder did he fall back into the lane of traffic He then proceeded to cut lanes of traffic while forcing other drivers to abruptly brake to avoid a collision I dont know what his emergency was - but after witnessing this drivers careless attitude, there is no way on earth I would let him into my business or residence

Review: I wanted to report a contractor, [redacted] aka [redacted] (and his wife [redacted]) from Elite Flood & Restoration (previously known as Elite Flood & Carpet Cleaning) , who did work on my home without a license and pocketed most of the funds without providing receipts. I was referred to him by a trusted and reputable plumbing company who refer them to their customers.Last year in May 2014, our home was affected by the Poinsettia Fire. We contacted AAA to file the claim and do the investigation. AAA came and assessed the damage and the total amount was. approximately $18,000. I can provide a copy of this claim. When I received the information from AAA, I contacted [redacted] who came the next day at my home on a Saturday morning to pick up the entire check. I gave it to him and I admit I was new to the process and did not question him when he asked me for the entire check as he said he needed the whole amount it to start the work that was on the report by AAA. [redacted] has a right hand man, J[redacted] who removed the insulation, rented a machine to do the power wash of the home, and cleaned the windows. When it came time to do the cleaning of the home, he sent [redacted]s elderly mother to come and to the cleaning along with a couple other ladies who left early, leaving [redacted]s mother to do complete the rest of the job, again keeping in mind she is an elderly lady whose work was minimum/slow and really just basic cleaning.

Elite Flood did not complete the job which consisted of the deep and thorough cleaning of the home for the ashes, (carpet cleaning, bedding, rugs, etc). This was the majority of the $18,000 claim. Nor did he fix the damage to the stucco caused by the power wash, which he said he would do as part of the claim funds.

The entire job was done in a manner where they cut costs to gain more and was not worth the claim amount at all.He has a way of taking advantage of you during vulnerable times. There is more but I don't have space to write it all.Desired Settlement: I want an investigation into [redacted]'s work on my house where he provides receipts of the work done and the balance written back to me to prove his work (which I can submit back to AAA) but someone has to check his work and what he is doing

His job was not worth $18,000. Also his address has changed. He uses his [redacted] which is his home I believe. I can provide his phone number as well. Ironially the 760-798-7062 phone number has been disconnected as of last week and is not online either anymore. This was the phone number they were advertising online for their business, and on their truck but they since have gotten rid of their van which had the logo and use a white van now (without logo/all white).

He is on to his next scam and someone has to put a stop to this. I am doing this even though I fear him because I suspect he is a criminal and has done these scams before by starting his own company to get the insurance checks and not finish the job. Thank you
