This is Sal from Elite Gold & DiamondsResponding to [redacted] 's complaintI am about to give you my side of the complaint [redacted] came in to replace the battery on a [redacted] watchWe changed the battery, watch started to work, he checked the watch paid and leftIf we had done anything wrong, watch would not have worked properlyIt's an old watch, machinery could have gone anytime [redacted] came after a week, and told us the watch since we changed the battery is not working the 2nd hand and chronograph I asked him to leave the watch, I'will have it checked by my watch repair especialist and will give a free estimate.My watch repair guy gave me an estimate to fix Mr Jonathan's [redacted] watchHe said meaning my watch repair guyThat what's wrong in the watch has nothing to do with the change of the batteryThat is my side of the storyWe did everything possible on a Good Faith.I cannot fix something which I am not responsibleIt was an old watch simply worn out

This is the response to Revdex.com compliant ID: [redacted] [redacted] made a purchase for a karat Miami Cuban Link chain which he started off on layaway and picked up the same day, and [redacted] signed the receipt which had our store policy of no refund written on it [redacted] seemed very satisfied with his purchase as he left the store with his new chain, but at some point after leaving the store he must have changed his mind and started to look for a reason to return the chain [redacted] claims he had the chain tested in numerous locations which sided with him and claim the chain is fake, but when [redacted] returned to the store with his claim, he did not bring any written statement or proof validating these claimTo further accommodate [redacted] we exchanged his item for other items in the store with included karat chain and charm and a 14K gold and diamond ringAnd now [redacted] is claiming that the ring does not have real diamondsSo to all of these claim I ask [redacted] to provide shred of proof to back up all of these claims.If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us:Fayez J***

I am rejecting this response because: Sal is lying. I brought the watch back immediately. Sal kept saying that I needed to prove it was working when I dropped it off for him to fix it. Malik and Hassan made buying a wonderful process. The jewelry I got is hand made and spectacular. Very good experience. I will keep on buying from them.

Review: On June 26,2014 10:00am I came upon this jewelry store called Elite Gold & Diamonds. I was very interested in buying a nice gold necklace/chain since I've been looking around for months now and this store had a nice variety of necklaces I was looking around when a sells representative named "Mark" if that is his real name came up to me and started offering me deals telling me I should become a customer I told him I was interested then he offered that I could get a loan or credit payment plan through [redacted] I filled in the application to see if I could get approved ** denied the loan. None the less I still told "Mark" I was interested in buying something that I had a little money when he told me I could put anything on lay-away with a deposit so I start looking through their collection no luck until he finally pulls out the last chain I hadn't seen out of their glass window display in the mall. I was told it was 10k gold 36" 107gram Cuban link chain it was very nice and exactly what I was looking for so I put a deposit of $1,000.00 cash down so it could be put on hold. So he starts filling out a paper receipt no computer no system nothing kinda shady for a jewelry store if you ask me none the less I didn't think anything of it, the price promised to me on this marvelous chain was $5,800.00 I had 90 days to pay off on lay-away so I sign the receipt chain is placed on hold I was told before I leave the store "Mark" told me if I could pay off today cash he would only charge me $5,700.00 so I thought why not I have the money and I'll save some on my item. So I head home from Westfield Wheaton shopping mall to Manassas come back to the store in the mall at 2:30 pm with the other $4,700.00 cash I paid off the chain written on paper receipt so I head back home happy with my new chain I start observing that the chain is really light I start thinking to myself I did not just spend $5,700.00 on a gold chain and not check if it's real so I head to a couple gold places here in [redacted] such as [redacted] jewlers, 3 pawn shops, cash for gold location and they all tell me it's a FAKE gold chain!!! They all told me gold is not magnetic and the chain was indeed magnetic when they did the test on it. At this point my heart drops I just got cheated out of my money at that a LOT OF MONEY I had been saving up for years. So I head back asap to Elite Gold & Diamonds I end up there for my third time that day at 7:00-8:00pm and I start explaining to "Mark" that I had just went to many locations they all told me the fabulous chain was indeed a FAKE and he keeps insisting it's not does a acid test in his store trying to show me when I keep trying to explain my point that gold is not magnetic at all and he says he does not have a magnet in his store. And at this point I start asking for my money back when he tells me no refund only exchange within the store I'm blown and soo upset at this point. He keeps insisting it is a real chain when 4 other sources tell me it is not he tells me to go across at shaw jewlers to check and if they say it's a fake to write it down the lovely ladie helped me out at [redacted] telling me she didn't have the test but she thought it was real just low quality 10k gold. So I end up leaving that mall that day with the same chain overnight I just kept thinking to myself gold is not magnetic.

So DAY 2 comes June 27, 2014 I wake up take the chain to another cash for gold place they tell me it's not worth anything it's magnetic not gold so I go back up up to Wheaton to complain to "Mark" and he says only exchange at this point I'm furious I didn't want anything from there store I was just sold a fake chain why would I even wanna exchange for anything else I don't know if it's fake or not I just want my money back you know but he says only exchange so I am forced to pick stuff that I didn't/don't even want and right now I am stuck with a 14k gold + 1ct diamond ring priced at $3,200.00 also a 14k gold chain with "diamond cuts" priced at $2,000.00 and a 14k gold cross for the chain priced at $350.00 he was very rude and rushing me telling me I'm wasting his time when I'm a customer who just spent $5,700.00 in one day on a FAKE at that.

This place is very unprofessional doesn't do business well once they get your money they don't care about you the people helping me out the first time at other stores trying to figure out if the first Cuban link chain was real had better customer service and I wasn't even their customer I am very disappointed. Like who allows places like these to get their licenses it's outrageous

Also today when I leave the mall after exchanging the FAKE chain for the 3 new pieces I go check all of them again because I don't trust this place one bit and the people at Shaw jewlers right across from elite gold & diamonds did a diamond test on the ring and turns out it's not even a real diamond that it is monzonite I will be going back to Elite Gold & diamond tomorrow on June 28, 2014 to exchange again or will take matters into further hands.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back no questions I will return every piece back in the condition it was handed to me. I don't want exchanges nothing I don't wanna deal with this place that I can't even trust anymore
