Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.
Texans Energy has concluded its
review of Mr. [redacted] complaint sent to the Revdex.com on 9-2-2015. Mr. [redacted]
first contacted Texans Energy on 8-27-2015 about the partial bill he received
in the amount of $137.97. The energy plan that Mr. [redacted] elected to enroll in
gives a bill credit of...
$100.00 if the customer meets usage requirements and has a
full billing cycle. As with many customers, Mr. [redacted] first bill was a
partial bill due to his TDU (American Electric Power) reading his meter between
cycles. We explained to Mr. [redacted] this is common for a first and final bill and
neither Texans Energy nor any other Retail Electric Provider has control of
when a customer’s meter is read. The Electricity Facts Label Mr. [redacted]
received when he enrolled clearly states that a full billing cycle is required
for the bill credit. (See Attached) We have attempted to contact Mr. [redacted]
twice but have been unsuccessful in reaching him and he has yet to respond to
our requests for him to contact us. Texans Energy is willing to extend to Mr. [redacted] a
$100.00 bill credit on his upcoming bill for this billing cycle as a customer courtesy and bona find
attempt to resolve the issue. Please contact
us if you require anything further.
