With this project we as Elite Landscape and Irrigation feel that there was a lot of miscommunication between us and the clientsWe were working on the project for several days and never were any of the concerns brought upWe did come in and add the extra zone this past week for the agreed upon price with the clientWe were happy to do the workAs for the other soil and seed concerns we finished the irrigation system late Saturday afternoon and were planning on doing the soil and seed but were asked not to because the company who mows the lawn were coming MondayIt was agreed upon that it would be best to wait until after the mowing was doneThe company ended up not mowing and they did the soil and seedFor the drip hoses not being buried, the whole landscape was still being added to and changedWe would have buried the lines if asked toWith the hydrant install I did not get approval to put it inI asked several times if it was wanted and it was notWe know it's a job easier done while the other parts of the irrigation system are put in and would have done it if it was wanted.We want to get these issues resolved and do what is right to complete the jobThere was only so much we could do without knowing what concerns there wasWe were treated very well by them and did the work happily for themWe felt we were open to any concerns they had but none were expressed even when they signed off the project as complete

I am rejecting this response because: I have email copies of my concerns expressed to the owners and they are dated They address the facts I listed as to my concerns with the soil, seed, having to pay the costs for doing that work as well as my time spent trying to get thevyard back together I never received a business response from Elite addressing those concerns With the hydrant, yes there is miscommunication but I largely handle the yard business and the A***'s knew this If I said to put the hydrant in, and my husband's response was in question, they should have asked I don't have time to babysit and check out everything day to day They stated they were "behind" for how long the project took and after finishing up prior to the weekend, just left as they said they had another job starting At the time, they are also in error about me stating our yard person would do it - at the time - THEYwere going to do the yardwork & we had committed to them Why would I pay someone extra money to do what was in the contract for them to do?? They came by very late one afternoon the following week to mow & plant somethings They were exhausted from the day and it was very late when I got home They neglected to finish the mowing, edging & blowing properly and the plants were simply "stuck in s hole" with the roots not even covered Based on that (which I also wrote them an email on), we decided we wanted someone who would take more time with details in the weekly lawn & yard work and told them we were not going to be using them They made no attempt to address soil & seed issues at that visit nor had they come by before so we went ahead and did it as we were anxious to get our yard pulled together & the grass growing To say there were no concerns expressed is simply not true.I was disappointed to read the Rlite response as I have emails proving we voiced our concerns about this project I even sent Hadley additional copies of those emails to prompt his memory He needs to revisit those as he is in error about us not expressing concerns He was actually hired to do our weekly mow & yardwork but after we saw his first effort, we were greatly disappointed and told him so in writing We then hired someone else to do our yardwork This month after finally deciding we were not doing large trees, we contacted them when they were out to fix a broken drip hose connection about the zone area and hydrant That is when we received the bid for another $1000.00! (As well as a bid on a small irrigation project which we wanted to wait on until we saw what the fall rains did in this area.) When we questioned that in an email, we were told they would go ahead & do the zone for $but to go elsewhere for other services! We did not even truly feel the $was warranted - especially after having given them a generous $BONUS in good faith that all would eventually be completed during the summer We reluctantly agreed to pay the $as we needed this zone done as our six mature blueberry bushes produced immature berries & the grass was totally stressed We tried to rationalize this in our minds as a "trip charge" but honestly there should have been "no cost" as it was part of the original project! With both my husband and myself shaving strong customer service/satisfaction backgrounds, I am very disappointed in a new business owner reacting/responding as he has
