She was mad over some private chats she found out about and removed me from the group, not letting me have access to pay or communicate with her. She threatened to blackmail me, harassed me online and to this day I am still out nearly $1800.

I attended an underwater photography workshop with Alicia D[redacted] of Pure Emotions Photography a few months back. It was horrible. I spent thousands of dollars to come from Australia to Mexico, to attend. Ms. D[redacted] was not only a horrible teacher who was more interested in building her own portfolio than actually teaching the students who paid her to mentor, but she was also rude and unprofessional the entire time. One of my classmates nearly drowned because of Alicia's lack of experience with underwater photography. She instructed us to wear workout weight vests which were not approved for underwater use. A teacher should have been experienced enough to know what equipment was or wasn't safe for what she was teaching. I am extremely disappointed in both the waste of money and the complete disrespect from this business. It seems I am not the only one disappointed. About 10 other workshops seem to have gone down hill with her. She is full of drama and unprofessionalism. She always has to be the center of attention and when anything goes wrong, it's never her fault.
