Review: I had contacted multiple lenders since Nov 2013 to find a mortgage lender for a "partial berm home" and finally in Feb 2014 I was directed to Elite Mortgage which I gave them all relevant info on the home and pictures of the "partial berm" and the broker sent all this info off to their lenders and one lender came back saying they would finance as long as the appraisal value came back. I went to sign the commitment papers for this loan in March 2014 as I was qualified and the broker said the lender saw all the pictures and info. The appraisal was then done in Apr 2014 and came back within a week or so showing the value was $10,000 over than what I was buying the home for. I was sent a copy of apprasial and was glad to see the value was over but I got an email later on from the broker saying that the "lender is still reviewing", this went on for a month before I heard back from the broker. After a month the broker responded that the underwriter looked and it and then it went to the VP and the VP didnt like it, I asked what could possibly be wrong, the broker told me the VP said the "pictures on the appraisal did a disservice". This is an absolute lie because the pictures that the appraiser took of the "partial berm" are exactly what the broker sent the lender in Feb before I even signed the commitment papers. The broker then went on to say they would send the appraisal to 5 other lenders, only after I asked them to. Since May 1st I have not gotten a response on what the other lenders said, and I did ask for this so called VP's name and phone number and I have not gotten an answer for that since June 1st. This is an absolute waste of time and money for an appraisal when they knew exactly what the property looked like from day one. I have all emails saved from the beginning.Desired Settlement: I would like the price of the appraisal refunded in the amount of $400
