Hello,I wanted to write a response to [redacted] complaint regarding her August 1st visitWe apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the price of a manicure/pedicure with shellac (gel polish)A pedicure with gel polish is $and a manicure with gel polish is $If you get both, we only charge $instead of $would be for gel polish only (no manicure or pedicure)When [redacted] came in with her friends, they all got pedicures with gel polish and [redacted] also wanted to get gel polish on her nailsA gel polish (no manicure) is $and a manicure with gel polish is $We asked her which she would like to get done and she looked at the pricing board and wanted to get a manicure with gel polishWhen it was time to pay, her friends were okay with the priee of their pedicure, but [redacted] had an issue with her total, even though she saw the pricing board before she got her manicure doneWe do take credit cards (Visa and MasterCard only), but also have an ATM for customers to use fee freeWe agree that there was a miscommunication between both parties and we should have verbally confirmed the price before [redacted] got her services done, which we now ensure we do to avoid any future confusionWhen [redacted] came in to discuss the situation, she said she could not afford to pay $for the services, so we returned $because of the misunderstanding, even though she saw the pricing board during her visitWe hope this further explains the situation and we will make sure that this miscommunication will not happen again

Review: on August 1st, I called Venetian Nails and Spa. I first asked if they took Debit/Credit Cards, their response was "YES we do!." I then asked how much a manicure/pedicure with shellac would be. Their response was "$50". So because it was a reasonable price, I decided to go to this specific place. Whenever I got there, I got my manicure/pedicure and whenever I was finished the lady totaled me at $80!.. I tried asking her Why it was so much because I was given other prices. The lady could not would not tell me why I was paying $80. She would not explain to me anything. I asked her if I was able to pay with my credit card and she said "We do not take Credit/Debit cards, use our ATM" - Again, I picked this spot not only for the price, but because I was able to use my Credit Card. So because I had no cash on me, I had to use my CREDIT card at an ATM and be charged extremely high intrest. I tried asking again, if my total was $50 because that is the price I was given on the phone. Again, I got no answers as to why it was more than the price I was given. When I left, I tried calling and having a manager explain it to me, but all they did was pass the phone around from person to person and then asked if I coem back in to show my nails? I wasn't sure why but all in all. I was ripped off and feel they took advantage of me. I went up a few hours later, and a team member there tried explaining the situation to me, but wasn't very clear or helpful and just threw $15 at me and told me "We'll call it even.." I was given a solid price of $50 and paid $30 more plus a tip than the price I was told. I felt embarrssed and degraded when I took time out of my night to go back in there to resolve the issue. I feel this place has done this before, and isn't given the same price to every customer.Desired Settlement: I was given $15 back from this issue. I paid $30 more than I was told the manicure/pedicure price would be. I would honestly like to be fully reimbursed because I called several times and was given the price of $50 and paid $80. This people had no social or customer service skills and nobody could speak English to me to help resolve the issue.
