Review: Had this company - [redacted], with work done by sub-contractors - paint porch and railings and roof of garage. Noted several things not completed properly when they "finished." [redacted] guaranteed their work, both prior to starting and also again when "finished," and PAID - to me and my friend - and said they'd be back asap to fix the bleeding through on porch and insufficient paint on garage roof top, which were noted immediately. Also, [redacted] himself broke one of our solar lights (we saw him step on it and break it) and he took it to "fix" it but never did return it - saying several times that it is "in his truck", so he basically stole it.Since then, Early November 2014, we found that the metal railings, which had shown no rust at all before, are now showing rust throught th paint and it's getting worse.After [redacted] initially assured me that he would come to finish and repair the work as needed and return the solar light in fixed condition, I have tried to contact [redacted] by all known phone numbers and by the e-mail address provided, with no response. We have contacted the sub-contractors and found they too have had trouble contacting [redacted] and had a hard time getting paid for their work.Basically, this complaint is that the work was not done properly, and may even be damaging the metal railings (causing rust that could weaken them), and the broken solar light has not been either fixed and returned, or compensated for.Although fixing the work and getting a working solar light replacement would have been acceptable to a point, we now feel it is appropriate for our money to be refunded and a different Painting Contractor hired to fix the shoddy work done.Desired Settlement: As noted, we initially simply wanted the work finished properly and fixed as needed, including the return of the broken solar light in fixed & proper working condition (or compensated for).At this point, due to the shoddy work done, the failure to return and properly finish/repair the work as needed, the not returning of the broken solar light, along with not responding to contacts by phone and e-mail, I feel a full REFUND is appropriate to hire another Painter to finish this job correctly.
