Below are portions of the email the director has sent to Mrs [redacted] in the email (attached)Over the phone and through email she has offered free makeup courses and free reading assessment sessionsThese should indicate that there is absolute transparency" ...to the free classes in October to prepare for NovemberHowever the offer still stands." "I unfortunately do not offer refunds for courses already taken with no attention drawn to this matter during the program...there is also evidence of his improvement here in the summer with the tests he took, two of which were tests given by college board (the official SAT test makers)I've attached that to this email.""what more I can do for you other than the free classes on the weekends PLUS offer a free session from myself so that I can assess where he is encountering problems or at least communicate with him to help..."The student did improve during our program, proof of which I have in the practice exams he took here as well as the student contract both he and the parent signed stipulating our refund/class credit policy (attached) We believed Mrs [redacted] would recall such correspondence and paperwork so we did not find it necessary to provide such evidenceHowever, it now seems necessary to mention the communication we have had and make clear the policy measures we take prior to enrolling any student

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I reject ELite  respond because the owner of RB branch ([redacted]) is a Con artist. She never offered us any kind of class or individual lesson in writing, after I sent her the email that my son felt humiliated and discriminated and will never go back to your facility than she was exactly sure how to manipulate the system. I don't believe in her lies and deceptive statement. She mislead my son to sign in and pay in full. She did promise a great boost on the SAT score. She even admitted the class was over loaded with students. She filled up the class and being acquisitive, therefor she didn't fulfill the students needs. The result is clear with our case ..!!! This program is fraud and scam they use kids needs to fulfill their bank account and this is NOT right. I do request a full refund for $2600 plus the pain and suffering. Elite SAT prep caused my family a great deal of hardship including emotional distress. I am a woman of faith and I believe in Karma. We believe we were mislead, cheated, humiliated, discriminated, and tricked by the Elite Sat Prep. We request Revdex.com to mark a red flag on this business so no one lese suffer the way we did. We also request Revdex.com to help us get our refund. This case will not be resolved until we get our money back.
Regards,

To address Mrs. [redacted]'s statement, we consult with each student and parents prior to enrolling in the program to inform them of what it entails, what to expect in terms of results and workload. We also inform parents and students while our program is successful with most of our students, it is not...

100% on account of the fact that our clients are people whose results we cannot control as can be manipulated if a machine. For that same reason, we never guarantee a certain number increase, but as stats are always asked we give ball park range. Finally, we also precaution that students' test score results on the real SAT can vary greatly from test to test, and students typically take SAT more than once. The parts that are true about Mrs. [redacted]'s statements are that there is a lot of work, classes are large group sessions in summer (sometimes reaching up to 25 students per class), and the tuition. However, we closely monitor our classes that are taught interactively so students are taught what they need as questions arise and staff seasoned instructors who are engaging and about whom students remember our programs most. We also do not strong arm people to sign up or take money from people without a signed student contract that stipulates our strict refund/class credit policy. While her son may not have seemed to have improved on his first SAT (from his PSAT as his start score), we give 8 mock SATs throughout the program and according to his file, he had shown improvement. Additionally, we have reached out to Mrs. [redacted] with several solutions such as continued free classes and a free private session with the director, a courtesy service to establish why her son hadn't improved and to assist accordingly.
