I read the experience of the people and a puppy with parvo, they had bought from
Elite PuppiesI bought two puppies from themMy puppies are fineThey did have
colds but are fine with antibioticsI believe Elite Puppies had nothing to do with their
coldsWith their wellness exam, not just my puppies but the people with parvo also,
could have contacted that disease right there in their vet clinic from an other customer
bringing in a sick dogIn all fairness; they could have contacted parvo from outdoor
animals as well50% chance they did and 50% chance they did notIt is a good thing
I am not Elite PuppiesMy puppies came from MOAll is fine, Elite Puppies, you are
doing a marvelous job, of customer satisfaction with product and serviceThank you again, Marty

After reading such negative comments about a business that I frequent, I felt I had to respond Over the past five years I have purchased two dogs which I am happy to report are happy and healthy and have become part of the family The first is a mastiff whom I purchased with little knowledge about the breed The saleswoman was both patient and pleasant as I asked numerous questions about numerous different breeds before determining this was the dog I wanted I felt no sales pressure and in fact was encouraged to be certain as I was well informed that once the dog was purchased, it was not returnable unless I had a letter from a vet stating it was not fit for sale We brought the dog to the vet the following day where she was given a clean bill of health
I was not allowed to handle the puppies while shopping as it was explained to me that people are the biggest cause of bringing an illness to the dogsSix months later, we decided that our"Bailey" needed a companion Again, the store was clean the animals appeared well cared for.I chose a Chihuahua, "Lola" who also was in perfect health I don't understand who these people who are complaining are speaking with as I have always been treated with friendly professionalism I would highly recommend Elite Puppies as I have been doing for the past five years

My family was sold a 6mth. old puppy that had a Grade 3 luxating patella that required $2600 surgery to correct. We bought our Frenchton puppy on 3/10/14 and she had surgery on 3/19/14 to correct it. Veterinarian indicates the puppy was born with this and therefore was sold to us lame which is illegal. Elite Puppies response to this was to "return the dog for a refund". My family became very attached to this puppy and couldn't stand to watch her limping in pain and was not going to return her to be euthanized. We went ahead and had the surgery done (humane thing to do) and when we asked for our $900 to be refunded to help us with the $2600 surgery, we were rudely told that we should've returned her. Elite Puppies should be closed down! The [redacted], [redacted] is only interested in making money and doesn't care about the welfare of her dogs or her customers. She has had many other complaints about selling sick puppies and has been caught buying from "puppy mills".Desired SettlementAll we wanted was our $900 that we paid for our puppy returned to us to help pay some of the surgery cost. She should also face charges for selling an animal that had an underlining condition. It is illegal in MA to sell an animal that is sick or has a defect. Her sales practices are cold and inhumane. Business Response We offered several times in writing to return the dog for a refund and they refused. We will not refund any money as per their contract.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Their response is inhumane! It is illegal to sell a dog with a known congenital defect. They knew that we would keep her because we love this puppy and when someone brings home a pet, it is emotionally impossible to "return it". This place has ripped off many people this way. Perhaps they should stop buying from puppy mills! If this is the current standards in Massachusetts, then it needs to be changed!Final Business Response Mr. [redacted] knew the return policy before he purchased the puppy. He also signed a contract agreeing to the return policy. If he didn't like the terms he should have never purchased the puppy. They use hate and profanity every time they communicate with us and I do not feel comfortable with any further communication unless it falls under the warranty they signed.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)We were lied to by Elite Puppies and told the puppy was healthy and vet checked every week! They are again lying because we never used hate or profanity in any of our email communications to them. I saved ALL of them & in one, she even says she will have the puppy's knee repaired at her cost and then re-sell her to us! Just another LIE I guess. That's how they run their business.

Purchased a puppy that was sick .I purchased a Boxer puppy on November 10 and took him to the vet on November 20th. They checked his stool because we said he had loose stools to the tune of 32.00 dollars and they found parasites so he needed an antibiotic for it to be cleared up to the tune of 15.50. When I called Elite she said their vet would follow up, well I have already established a relationship with a vet to follow up after the antibiotic was complete which cost us another 32.00. Desired SettlementI would like to be reimbursed the 79.50 in vet fees for the sick puppy.Business Response As per the contract she signed, we do not reimburse for any medical expenses. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)[redacted], I want to be reimbursed and will not settle until.Final Business Response The consumer new the terms of the contract. We offered to take the puppy back and she refused. We will not reimburse for anything.

Sold me puppy knowing it was sick. Also have bogus breeder on my paperworkI purchased a great pyrenees on July 4,4014, was told the puppy was cleared 100% healty. On July 7, I brought her to my vet in which she was diagnosed with pneumonia, parasites, worms and fleas. I also have found that the breeder on my paperwork is bogus. It's a broker, when I went back to Elite they were rude and told me she would not refund my vet bills.Desired SettlementI Would like for to be held responsible for this and it be known about her business practices. Through research I have found there ARE MANY OTHERS that have had the same problem with this business. I want her to be stopped from selling sick puppies and to be held responsible for the vet bills,.Business Response [redacted] signed a contract acknowledging we do not reimburse for medical bills. We emailed him prior to him bringing the dog to the vet that we would not pay for medical bills. We will not reimburse anything. We offered to take the dog back for a refund and he declined. We will not deal with his irrational and explosive behavior anymore. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I bought the puppy on Friday july 4, called her heron Saturday july 5, after speaking with my vet. The puppy was so sick we thought she was going to need emergency medical care. That's when she said she wasn't going to pay for! I had the Puppy not even 1 day! Fortunatley she didn't need emergency care. I brought to my vet on Monday july 7, to find out she had pneumonia, parasites, worms, fleas and nothing but bones. She also has put a false name as the breeder! the breeders name on my paperwork is not the breeder. it's a broker! As far as irrational, explosive behavior, I have never even spoke with the owner [redacted].I tried to contact her a she does not respond. and it was her employee that was unbelievably rude to me and my daughter. She did give me the option of a refund or take the puppy back for 8 days and treat her themselves, they let the puppy get that sick and sold her knowing she was sick and didn't care because of her iron clad contract. I thought it was illegal to sell a sick animal knowingly. There was no way I was bringing her back to them, they didn't get her the medical attention when they had her, they let get that sick! I have spoke with many others in the same situation with this business, She has been getting away with it because people think like me, and have morals! and will not allow the pet to go back there to be abused. I expect to get a healthy puppy when I pay $1400. All I wanted from her was the vet bill to get her healthy. Which she should have been when I bought her! Final Business Response I am responding for the last time. I am not reimbursing for anything per his contract and per my emails. If [redacted] didn't like the terms he should have never signed the contract period.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I do not accept her response. Something has to be done about this business. She is knowingly selling sick puppies sticking the customer with the vet cost. Because of her IRON CLAD CONTRACT. She put a bogus name as a breeder on my papers, I paid for a purebred, who knows if that's true. she lied about me not being level headed, she lied about my screaming at the dept. of agriculter. She uses these tactics of lies and deception to discredit the customer. Hoping the customer will give up and go away.

We purchased a puppy from Elite Puppies on Sun. late afternoon. The puppy around 7:15 the next morning. The puppy had Parvo. Refund has not been done.We called the business owner to inform her of the deceased puppy. She requested we bring it to a vet for an exam to confirm that disease/illness killed the puppy and not trauma. We brought it to the vet, the vet suspected the puppy had parvo. I relayed info. to [redacted] ([redacted]), and she said she would give us another puppy but she wouldn't refund us the $1,300 unless we confirmed with test results that the dog had parvo. The testing cost money, and she said she would not reimburse us for the medical expenses. We paid for the test and it was a confirmed case of Parvo. The vet for Elite puppies and [redacted] have these results of the Parvo test. She still has not refunded our money, and is now requesting a written statement from our vet confirming her findings and the test results. Parvo is highly contagious, and the other puppies may be infected. Unfortunately, she is continuing to sell these puppies.Desired SettlementWe are looking to be refunded the purchase price of the puppy AND the medical and cremation expenses.Business Response Mrs. [redacted] is entitled to a refund as we explained to her. She will receive it within 14 days. We will not refund any other expenses per the contract. Furthermore, she is now posting slanderous statements and my attorney is now involved. Also as her above slanderous statement that I continue to sell sick dogs with parvo she again is wrong. All of my puppies at my store are fine. If the [redacted] would like my attorneys contact information please advise. I will no longer be corresponding with this person. It will all be done via my attorney.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I have not posted slanderous remarks. My remarks accurate remarks based on my experience with her business. Also, had we done our research before purchasing the puppy, we would have known there are far more negative reviews than positive ones. She was not willing to refund us until we paid for a confirmed diagnosis even though the vet was pretty sure what the puppies died from. The puppy was expensive, and There is no reason the refund should take 14 days. Not good business practices!Final Business Response Mrs [redacted] owns a business and knows how to read a contract I assume. The contract states if there is a medical issue with the puppy you need a vet statement. It also states refunds are to be made with in 14 days. The business practices are exactly per the contract.

I recently purchased a puppy from this store. it was one of the best decisions of my life. my puppy is healthy and full of love and I wouldn't change my decision for the world. all the puppies in the store were really cute and looked healthy and full of energy anyone who decides to get a puppy from this store is a lucky person.

My puppy has a kennel cough which has now turned into by-laterial bacteria ammonia. On March 23, 2014 I [redacted] R. [redacted] purchased a three month old Great Pyerees male, within a week developed a kennel cough. Which has now turned into by-laterial ammonia. He is now on a respirator, feeding tube, and IV fluids. My puppy has received numerous blood transfusions. He is in critical condition. I have called Elite Puppies, to ask them to pay for some medical bills, but they refused. These people are selling sick puppies, and should be shut down. So far I have spent over $8,000 on medical bills. It is emotionally and financially devastating to see these puppies in this condition. Animals shouldn't have to suffer at the expense of these greedy people!Desired SettlementPay the animals medical bills!!Business Response As per [redacted]'s contract we do not pay for medical bills. She called we examined her rights per her contract. No reimbursement will be sent,
