As we decided to lend our second floor on rent, we faced an issue. The condition of the roof was not presentable as it started showing signs of damage and needed a complete solution for transformation. We contacted Elite roofing and Construction Company and handed over this responsibility to them. They are the masters at it! Thanks.

I am filing a complaint for Breach of Contract -unfinished construction taking a deposit of 1,761.28. Also, $100 for the theft of a shop vac.
Unfulfilled Contract Allstate Claim #XXXXXXXXXX/ Due Refund
On 11/25/2019 an agreement/ Contract #XXXXXXXXX was signed with Elite Construction to complete all construction required outlined in Allstate Claim #XXXXXXXXXX. The start date noted on the contract is 12/10/2019 to be completed in 10 days. Since 12/18 the promises of arrival times and job completion was ongoing by ***, the no shows and no calls again ongoing leaving me in a much stressful situation unable to schedule daily activities and without comfort and mobility in my home due to the construction upheaval. *** had also promised to have the work completed by Christmas so that I could have family Christmas, again no show and no calls. The house was complete disarray during Christmas and past the stated 10 day completion.
As the contract with Elite dated 11/25/2019 I paid $1,761.28 *** required 60% of the total amount $2,935.48, which the check was made to ***. I am very, very upset that as 1/6/2020 the date I gave up the *** of Elite Construction was not going to finish the job which is not even close to being complete. The drywall, painting and flooring has not been done and my house is still is disarray. Also, to add insult to injury he used and took my shop vac and promised me a new shop vac. The worker was not given supplies or equipment, I supplied the shop vac, a bundle of large trash bags and boxes.
This experience has been unnecessarily stressful and upsetting and I feel I am due full refund of $1,761.28 for work not done and should be compensated for the cost of my shop vac $100 in addition to the noted deposit. I have photos of the unfinished job.
with Elite Construction has proven be untrustworthy and I have hired another contractor to complete the job left almost completely unfinished. Elite only moved furniture out the rooms and then blocked doorways and entrance to stairs and removed old carpeting and tile which is in my garage. *** did have someone start the drywall, but the job was not competed and done so poorly it has be redone by another contactor. It is my understanding he gave the drywall worker 2) bad checks. He also stole my shop vac worth $100. I feel I am entitled to a full refund of the deposit of $1761.28 plus $100 for the shop vac.
In response to ***' complaint and request for a total refund. Elite Construction will refund Mrs. all funds with prejudice. We thought we were doing her a favor by doing the work at a very low discounted price. With Mrs. being informed the contract price would not cover all things she wanted done.
As for the project going over expected completion date, we had several employees out with the flu and fell behind on all projects. Mrs. was informed and we were doing our best. She was very impatient and not understanding. We apologize for for any inconvenience or stress Mrs. had endured. We offered to complete the job but were fired and told not to come back.
As for the employee not being prepared or supplied with materials or tools is obscured. All employees have access to our charge accounts. Also, Mrs. offered the employee to use her shop vac. In return, we offered to clean up or replace her shop vac.
Now, my employee payroll is not of Mrs. concern. My drywall worker has been paid in full for the work that was done at Mrs.' home. This is slander of me and my company and will not be tolerated and I am asking for this to be removed from Mrs.' complaint.

I *** will accept a total refund amount of $1861.28 which includes $100.00 to replace a shop vac contingent that a refund the form of a Cashier's Check arrives by Friday, February 28, 2020. Once the Cashier Check has been received by February 28th no further action will taken and I will consider the complaint and issue resolved.
Also, I would like it to be noted that I object to ***'s referring to word "slander", it not slander when the truth is told.
Again,once I recieve the cashier's check the issue will be considered resolved.
Since Mr. has not refunded the money he agreed to refund, the case has not been resolved and should be reopened. Thank you
Elite Construction has agreed to give Mrs. a total refund and apologize for not meeting the demanded date by Mrs.. The company is taking the appropriate actions of processing the customer's refund. A cashiers check in the amount of $1,821.68 that includes $100.00 for the shop vac that Mrs. allowed our employee to use will be mailed to the address on file for Mrs. as soon as possible.

We do accept that Mr. will send me a cashiers check in the amount of $1861.28 in Mr. words "as soon as possible" which I believe would mean given a day or so to maintain a cashier's check and time for the mail to process which should not take any longer than by the end of March 2020. It should be noted that I should receive the check no later than the end of March as to avoid the scheduled court date in April.
Our Four Season room by Elite Sunroom Systems was completed professionally and in a timely manner. From Kyle and his concrete guys, who took good care not to tear up the lawn, to the installers who were polite and worked diligently, even in light rain. They took pride in their work and made sure it was built correctly the way they would want it done if it were their house. Matt always kept up-to-date with the timeline, which made it easy to schedule other appointments. Thank you for the great, painless experience. Our new sunroom well be our favorite room!
