My front yard was damaged by a truck owned by this company. Damage occurred while collecting a container on my neighbors property. My neighbors hired this company to provide container services, resulting in a trash container being placed in their front yard. Upon collection of this container on Friday August 5th, 2016 the driver repeatedly drove over my yard, resulting in several deep ruts through the yard. The driver also ran over several landscaping stakes I had on the perimeter of my yard to prevent cars from pulling onto the grass. My first call to Elite Waste Services was answered by a woman at the office who said she'd take my information down and return my call with a solution. After several hours of not receiving a return call I called them back and spoke to the manager [redacted] She asked again took my information. I received an email at 4:46 evening requesting pictures of the damage which I sent at 4:58. More pictures were sent at 6:11. On Saturday August 6th, I had not received a call or email responding to my request for a resolution so I resolved the damage myself. Waiting around hoping for them to fix my yard was not an option, it needed to be fixed quickly as it was an eyesore to neighbors entering the neighborhood. I sent an email to [redacted] requesting reimbursement for the cost of seed required to replace the grass. This cost was $36.48 and does not include the hours of labor spent to flatten the yard and replace my stakes. I also requested that their drivers remained on the road when collecting the container that was left on August 5th after retrieval of the full one. I received an email 4:22 Monday August 8th from [redacted] thanking me for the pictures and gave an excuse for not responding earlier. Claiming they had left for the day, although their business hours posted online clearly state they are opened 7 - 12 on Saturday. Ample time to respond had this been given priority. She again wanted to clarify what I wanted, to which I responded with the above stated reimbursement of expenses and request for drivers to remain in the right-of-way. This was clearly stated in the email sent on August 6th and EWS was given a deadline of August 12th to comply.That date has passed [redacted] I am left with no other option but to tell others of their complete disregard for personal property.Desired SettlementI would like to receive compensation for expenses incurred by their drivers negligence totaling to the cost of seed purchased. This amount is $36.48, I am not requesting compensation for labor which is impossible to quantify. I also request that this companies trucks remain on the road while continuing their service to my neighbors property. Response from consumerElite Waste Services has completely compensated me for the damage done to my property (In part thanks to my complaint to Revdex.com). I am 100% satisfied with their response.
