We received a notification of a complaint from [redacted] that was assigned ID and I wanted to take this opportunity to provide you with the facts [redacted] used our software to manage an event held on 01/26/called the NJ Novice State Champ- Fair Lawn We processed registration payments on his behalf and sent him a check once his registration closed for $ When someone uses our site to process payments, they have to agree to our Chargeback policy before activating the registration The chargeback policy reads as follows: "A chargeback occurs when a customer disputes a transaction with their credit card company indicating a charge was not valid In these situations, we will work with the customer, the credit card companies, and event management to try and resolve the issue If the customer goes through with the chargeback and receives their money, that money plus $for a chargeback fee is debited from Trackwrestling, and in turn Trackwrestling will invoice the tournament for the amount refunded plus $ In order for us to process credit cards on your behalf, you must agree to this policy and agree that you will pay for any chargebacks associated with your event." On March 6th, we received a chargeback notification from one of the wrestlers that attempted to attend his event The wrestler paid the registration fee for the event on 1/16/for $and then showed up to wrestle in the event, but was not allowed to wrestle (because he was too old or something like that) and [redacted] would not provide them with a refund The customer chose to dispute the charge with the credit card company and therefore initiated a chargeback for his event We then notified [redacted] and the customer of the chargeback situation letting [redacted] know he was responsible to cover the fees (because he agreed to the chargeback policy and we just processed payments on their behalf) Here is a link the communication thread that followed: http://www.trackwrestling.com/tw/tickets/Ticket.jsp?ticketId=56111089&ticketKey=... This thread shows all the dates and times of the communication along with exactly what was communicatedThat thread ended on 9/18/and we did not receive re-imbursement from anyone On 2/11/we sent [redacted] an invoice reminder letting him know the invoice was not paid and he responded by starting another ticket in our system Here is a link to that ticket thread: http://www.trackwrestling.com/tw/tickets/Ticket.jsp?ticketId=97069089&ticketKey=... Once you read through this thread, you will have the facts You will notice we had our credit card processor do an investigation into this matter, and they provided us with the dates and times of any transactions on the credit card in question along with dates and times of chargeback credits and debitsPlease let me know if you have any further questionsThank you, [redacted] President/CEO trackwrestling.com

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below As [redacted] from track wrestling himself admits in his response to this complaint, "A chargeback occurs when a customer disputes a transaction with their credit card company indicating a charge was not valid In these situations, we will work with the customer, the credit card companies, and event management to try and resolve the issue." Track Wrestling failed to work with the event management in disputing this chargeback and blindly accepted it from their company They never would have incurred a chargeback fee had we been given an opportunity to dispute the charge, as the [redacted] 's accepted their responsibility in this matter immediately after being contacted If Track Wrestling disputed the chargeback and gathered the appropriate evidence necessary to support the validity of the initial charge, we wouldn't be in this position The NJNWA successfully defended two other chargeback attempts through PayPal during this same time periodMrand Mrs [redacted] were advised that their son, that they registered for a novice level tournament, was not eligible for our tournament and that we have a no-refund policy in place to deter parents from registering ineligible wrestlers into our events Mrs [redacted] then initiated a chargeback with her credit card company that Track Wrestling never attempted to resolve with us The first notification we received regarding this matter was an invoice for $from Track Wrestling We disputed this with Track Wrestling as they failed to uphold their promise to work with event management to try and resolve this issue prior to accepting the chargeback Furthermore, [redacted] stated via telephone that "we never win chargebacks, so we don't bother trying." I stated this was unacceptable and that was Track Wrestling's negligence in this matter that caused him to incur the additional $charge The NJNWA immediately contacted the [redacted] s in regards to this matter and were advised by both the husband and wife that they would reverse any action associated with this chargeback and that they took full responsibility for their actions [redacted] then REFUSED to work with the [redacted] s to rectify the situation, as you can see in the thread, even stating that he was not offering any other means of resolution other than a check for $60.00, despite Mrs [redacted] insisting she authorized her credit card company to re-charge her account [redacted] refused to provide any other recourse for resolution until I went to the New Jersey Department of Consumer Affairs and the Wisconsin Revdex.com He has since opened up communication with the [redacted] s, but has still failed to resolve this issue, and has upset Mrs [redacted] to the point that I am not sure if this incident can be rectifiedNow, Track Wrestling is illegally withholding funds entitled to EA Tech, in violation of the agreement they entered into with EA Tech, because I was the tournament administrator for a recent event I was merely the point of contact for this event and am not the sole proprietor or owner of EA Tech The two tournaments are not associated with each other and the two organizations have nothing in common Track Wrestling is using the funds from EA Tech to pay for a debt owed by the [redacted] s, and at worst, the NJNWA Not only are Track Wrestling's actions unethical, but they are illegal as well Now, EA Tech is having thousands of dollars withheld to pay for a $dispute, part of which Track Wrestling brought upon themselves which directly impacts the financial future of a youth wrestling club [redacted] has been extremely arrogant and uncooperative in resolving this matter, stating he didn't care about the Revdex.com's opinion on this matter and won't settle with the [redacted] s out of principle [redacted] 's principles apparently are worth upholding at the expense of innocent 4-year old wrestlers who have nothing to do with the actions of adults Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowTrackwrestling.com is in no position to determine whether or not we would have won or lost a charge back Again, track wrestling has now admitted a second time that they failed to follow their own procedures As I stated in my previous statements, the NJNWA has successfully defended charge backs.
Furthermore, I provided *** with a link to our website highlighting the exact policy we have in place for our registrants Trackwrestling.com unilaterally acted on behalf of the NJNWA without authority and thus incurred penalties due to their own negligenceFinal notice for payment in full has been delivered to and received by Track Wrestling through their contact system

We received a notification of a complaint from [redacted] that was assigned ID 10447616 and I wanted to take this opportunity to provide you with the...

facts.
[redacted] used our software to manage an event held on 01/26/2014 called the NJ Novice State Champ. - Fair Lawn.  We processed registration payments on his behalf and sent him a check once his registration closed for $4013.90.  When someone uses our site to process payments, they have to agree to our Chargeback policy before activating the registration.  The chargeback policy reads as follows:
"A chargeback occurs when a customer disputes a transaction with their credit card company indicating a charge was not valid.  In these situations, we will work with the customer, the credit card companies, and event management to try and resolve the issue.  If the customer goes through with the chargeback and receives their money, that money plus $25 for a chargeback fee is debited from Trackwrestling, and in turn Trackwrestling will invoice the tournament for the amount refunded plus $25.  In order for us to process credit cards on your behalf, you must agree to this policy and agree that you will pay for any chargebacks associated with your event."
On March 6th, 2014 we received a chargeback notification from one of the wrestlers that attempted to attend his event.  The wrestler paid the registration fee for the event on 1/16/2014 for $35 and then showed up to wrestle in the event, but was not allowed to wrestle (because he was too old or something like that) and [redacted] would not provide them with a refund.  The customer chose to dispute the charge with the credit card company and therefore initiated a chargeback for his event.  We then notified [redacted] and the customer of the chargeback situation letting [redacted] know he was responsible to cover the fees (because he agreed to the chargeback policy and we just processed payments on their behalf).  Here is a link the communication thread that followed:
http://www.trackwrestling.com/tw/tickets/Ticket.jsp?ticketId=56111089&ticket... /> This thread shows all the dates and times of the communication along with exactly what was communicated.
That thread ended on 9/18/2014 and we did not receive re-imbursement from anyone.
On 2/11/2015 we sent [redacted] an invoice reminder letting him know the invoice was not paid and he responded by starting another ticket in our system.  Here is a link to that ticket thread:
http://www.trackwrestling.com/tw/tickets/Ticket.jsp?ticketId=97069089&ticket... /> Once you read through this thread, you will have the facts.  You will notice we had our credit card processor do an investigation into this matter, and they provided us with the dates and times of any transactions on the credit card in question along with dates and times of chargeback credits and debits.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thank you,

We tried to work with [redacted] and the [redacted]'s to resolve the situation and that is evidenced by the communication.  Reading through the communication threads is the easiest way to understand what happened here.
The $25 chargeback fee is applied regardless of the result of the dispute.
I am sure I told [redacted] he would lose the chargeback because he would have.
I am also sure I told him I would present anything he provided to us and he never provided anything.  He took the approach that it was not his problem, even though he agreed to the chargeback policy.
We will send [redacted] his $50 when we receive payment from the [redacted]'s because that is what the policies everyone agreed to state.
Thank you,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

As [redacted] from track wrestling himself admits in his response to this complaint, "A chargeback occurs when a customer disputes a transaction with their credit card company indicating a charge was not valid.  In these situations, we will work with the customer, the credit card companies, and event management to try and resolve the issue."  Track Wrestling failed to work with the event management in disputing this chargeback and blindly accepted it from their company.  They never would have incurred a chargeback fee had we been given an opportunity to dispute the charge, as the [redacted]'s accepted their responsibility in this matter immediately after being contacted.  If Track Wrestling disputed the chargeback and gathered the appropriate evidence necessary to support the validity of the initial charge, we wouldn't be in this position.  The NJNWA successfully defended two other chargeback attempts through PayPal during this same time period.
Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] were advised that their son, that they registered for a novice level tournament, was not eligible for our tournament and that we have a no-refund policy in place to deter parents from registering ineligible wrestlers into our events.  Mrs. [redacted] then initiated a chargeback with her credit card company that Track Wrestling never attempted to resolve with us.  The first notification we received regarding this matter was an invoice for $60.00 from Track Wrestling.  We disputed this with Track Wrestling as they failed to uphold their promise to work with event management to try and resolve this issue prior to accepting the chargeback.  Furthermore, [redacted] stated via telephone that "we never win chargebacks, so we don't bother trying."  I stated this was unacceptable and that was Track Wrestling's negligence in this matter that caused him to incur the additional $25.00 charge.  The NJNWA immediately contacted the [redacted]s in regards to this matter and were advised by both the husband and wife that they would reverse any action associated with this chargeback and that they took full responsibility for their actions.  [redacted] then REFUSED to work with the [redacted]s to rectify the situation, as you can see in the thread, even stating that he was not offering any other means of resolution other than a check for $60.00, despite Mrs. [redacted] insisting she authorized her credit card company to re-charge her account.  [redacted] refused to provide any other recourse for resolution until I went to the New Jersey Department of Consumer Affairs and the Wisconsin Revdex.com.  He has since opened up communication with the [redacted]s, but has still failed to resolve this issue, and has upset Mrs. [redacted] to the point that I am not sure if this incident can be rectified.
Now, Track Wrestling is illegally withholding funds entitled to EA Tech, in violation of the agreement they entered into with EA Tech, because I was the tournament administrator for a recent event.  I was merely the point of contact for this event and am not the sole proprietor or owner of EA Tech.  The two tournaments are not associated with each other and the two organizations have nothing in common.  Track Wrestling is using the funds from EA Tech to pay for a debt owed by the [redacted]s, and at worst, the NJNWA.  Not only are Track Wrestling's actions unethical, but they are illegal as well.  Now, EA Tech is having thousands of dollars withheld to pay for a $60.00 dispute, part of which Track Wrestling brought upon themselves which directly impacts the financial future of a youth wrestling club.
[redacted] has been extremely arrogant and uncooperative in resolving this matter, stating he didn't care about the Revdex.com's opinion on this matter and won't settle with the [redacted]s out of principle.  [redacted]'s principles apparently are worth upholding at the expense of innocent 4-14 year old wrestlers who have nothing to do with the actions of adults.

[redacted]
