today. And I want to thank you for reaching out and making us aware of ID: [redacted] concerns.Our patient's mother at the time worked for a company whom had a clause in their benefit coverage for no benefits on sealants. Typically, with this Dental Insurance Company (with whom we are in Network) sealants are covered up to the age of 15. Our patient was 14 years old at the time of Service on January 4, 2014 which was a Saturday. The insurance company does not have Saturday hours, therefore we were unable to receive benefit information and assumed payment would be rendered like the remaining patients we have with the same insurance and for whom we have completed services.Mom reached out to our financial coordinator via mail (July 2014) saying she would like to set up a payment plan of $50.00 a month. We received a $25.00 payment on 8/22/14 and $50.00 on 12/18/14. These were the only two personal payments received for January 4, 2014 Date Of Service. After Sending 23 Statements and being promised numerous times that she will make minimum monthly payments, we were out of options. Up until now, we have heard nothing but apologies and appreciation from mom.The last time I spoke with mom we agreed to split the cost of the sealants ($232.00 / 2 = $116,00) leaving a balance on their account of $142.79. I have since written off her bill. To: Whom It Mat Concern-
Concerning complaint # [redacted]. I have read the businesses response and if it is really true that I have a $0 balance with them, I would like that send to me I writing so that if anything is put on my credit I can go to the 3 major credit reporting agencies and show them. Attached is the last email send to me on October 31st, 2015 which shows where she was asking me for money and threatening to take me to court. The fact they they are using no integrity in this matter is concerning to me.
