Review: My husband and I were looking into renting a home out of the area we currently live in due to his job being over towards Ridgway. We found a 3 bedroom house that was advertised in the paper by this company. My husband is self employed and works as a logger. Due to the increasing amounts of rain this season he has been out of work for 2 weeks. I called to explain the situation that we will no longer be able to rent that house due to the fact that my husband has been unable to make production or produce a pay check at work. The security deposit we put down for the house the company will not refund. I have a receipt from the company stating the security deposit is for a house we will not be occupying now due to circumstances that were out of our hands. I asked for the financial institution and address of the trust account where our security deposit should be being held and the owner told me he was not giving it to me.Desired Settlement: I would like the refund of our money for this house. We put down a security deposit that was to be used for repairs and damages to a house we will not be occupying. This refund was never outlined to be non refundable and no where on the receipt does it say that this money was non refundable.

I am entitled to my deposit it was a security deposit not a holding deposit which are two different things.
