I am rejecting this response because:I writing to you regarding the dispute we have with Kia Elk Grove [redacted] the representative for them arranged return of vehicle after they failed to allow us to trade up with original vehicle we wantedShe told us that if we had a cosigner on loan we could get a different car.So, with the understanding that's what we needed, my mom drive hours to cosignThey told us after almost hours there that they couldn't get thru to lenders since it was so late [redacted] said it would be completed by noon the next day.So the next day we waited and waited, finally she called to tell us they couldn't accept a cosignerTotally blown away with what was originally arranged and promised, all liesAlso, no apology from [redacted] only ***.We then went to ***, got a car with my mom as cosigner no problem[redacted] was called that same day and we informed her we'd return car and she promised a full refund of $check.Car was returned and papers completed with promise that papers would be expedited to finance department and should receive refund check by weeks.After several calls to [redacted] asking for status of check I kept getting the run aroundNow over a month later we still haven't received our $check in the mailLast communication with [redacted] Friday 4/she said I don't know where your check is and its out of my handsSo I Left a message with [redacted] Friday 4/no call backI left [redacted] a message again last Wednesday 5/and still no call backNow they are avoiding me and I demand they refund a check by this next weekHow can their system be so slow? It's been 1/months now and this is unacceptable!Please help in this dilemma.Thank you! [redacted]

I am very unsatisfied with the service I received from Elk Grove Kia! I bought a brand new 2014 kia Forte, which is covered under their 10 year warranty. I recently noticed a foul odor overpowering my car and wasn't sure what it was. I went grocery shopping a few days later, popped my trunk and it smelled as if something died in my trunk. All of my paper grocery bags were soaked and my groceries were falling out. I looked in the inside on my trunk and the whole trunk was full of mold. Blankets, clothes, and lawn chairs that were in there had to be thrown away as they were dripping wet and full of mold. There was a huge puddle of water where my spare tire would go (enough to bathe my 2 year old in) and Kia said my car wasn't a priority to fix. They won't fix the damages to my vehicle even though the damages were a result to a manufacturer defect. They think shampooing a stain out of the seat is going to get the mold out of the seat and the carpet. My insurance company already stated the whole back end of my vehicle needs to be stripped and replaced (all carpeting and back seat), however Kia said that is out of their hands and they are doing me a favor by even detailing the car! I saved up for a very long time to buy this car and I can't believe a company with one of the longest car warranties would operate like this. If you google "Kia water in trunk" there are tons of pages with 2014 fortes having issues with the water in the trunk. And the dealership said this was the first time they ever heard of it and wanted to charge me to get it looked at! They didn't want to get my car in right away and it wasn't until I took in a doctor note from my 2 year old pediatrician that they made my car a priority. My daughter now has to ride in an alternate vehicle and is having an allergic reaction to the mold. She developed a cough so bad she gasps for air and the dr had to prescribe her an inhaler! We just bought a 2nd Kia for my husband and we will be looking into trading them in and not ever doing business with Kia again, nor will we ever recommend them to friends or family!

Review: 3 weeks ago I purchased a new vehicle from Kia Motors Elk Grove. After they requested proof of income with W2's which I provided. I work for the same company for 1.5 years but last year a new owner bought the company. I received W2 from new owners but not from old owner. Unable to Obtain from old owner, the new owner spoke with financial company to verify income. Received a call 3/23/16 from Kia Elk Grove [redacted] who accused me of being a liar and stating I told him I got paid under the table. I never once stated that and again [redacted] called me a liar. I've never been so offended and treated so rudely. He treatened they were going to repossess vehicle. Given the situation of previous W2, why after speaking to the owner to verify employment and income isn't enough. Isn't that proof? How can they treat me like this and get away with it? Poor customer service and threats to myself. How do they treat other customers? Also, I heard on radio an advertisement for Kia Elk Grove that minimum $350 week, repossession no problem you can get a car. This is false advertising since they can't promise that either.Desired Settlement: Resolution of the purchase of this car. Verification from employer/ owner of employment and income should be proof to complete this issue with Kia motors. Why after 3 weeks are we still dealing with this? Apology from sales, finance and manager of Kia Motors!
