Review: I was charged for tables that were never delivered. I was told they would be delivered the day before my sale & picked up the day after.

I called June 6th to order tables for a garage sale. My Amex card was charged $92.00 that day. On the day before my sale, I placed many calls asking when the tables would be delivered. They never answered the phone. The message said they would return calls. I was finally pleading that they call me, since I needed to leave & go to the hospital where my husband was being treated for leukemia. They never returned my calls. Finally, my daughter & I set up "make shift" tables & put our goods out & got "set up". The next morning 20 minutes before the sale was starting & there were already people there, looking at things, my phone rings & [redacted] informs me that they are ready to deliver my tables. I informed her that they could cancel the order, since they had not delivered the tables on the date they had promised, & hung up. When I received my Amex bill, they had charged me $92.00 and I again tried to call them to resolve this. I was never allowed to speak with [redacted] (the manager) always being told that she was out or not available, but the she would return my call. She never did, so after 4 or 5 calls, I gave up. I mailed her a certified letter for which I have a receipt, asking that she refund my money, since I never received anything from them. I have not even had the courtesy of a phone call.Desired Settlement: I'd like my money returned.

The customer claims that we were suppose to deliver equipment on the day she called to cancel. In fact the order did not state that was the day she needed delivery we delivered on the date that she indicated she needed the equipment. Our driver was ready to make the delivery and told to cancel the order. We do not cancel the order on the day of the event. Rental companies charge the customer for the cancellation each rental companies have there own criteria although they all charge for cancellations.

I placed at least 5 calls to this company on the day prior to my sale (which was the day they agreed to deliver the tables). They refuse to answer their phone & do NOT return calls, even though on their recorded message they state that if you leave your name & phone number they will return your call. In each call I reminded them that THIS was the day they agreed to deliver my tables, and so if they didn't intend to make the delivery, why didn't someone return my call to inform me of this? And, contrary to their statement,I'm sure many companies would not have charged me in the first place, until the day of delivery. They charged on the day I ordered, and now refuse to talk with me whenever I call. It is a very shoddy way to do business, and you can be sure that I will let everyone in my community and circle of friends know about their questionable way of dealing with customers!

Review: I ordered to rent some items from this company and when I went to pick them up, they were closed, did not answer their work phone # and/or door bell. This was very, very stressed out and very frustrated to say the least because the items were for a very special event.In summary, I was not able to pick up the items I had ordered for the specified date and therefore, my very special event ended up getting ruin by good part of the day. When I finally talked to employee and owner they denied everything to thier favor.I know exactly, what happened, I got screwed by this company. And to make things worse, these people are very rude and very unprofessional. I don't know how they are in business this way. Perhaps, the Revdex.com should review thier business practices and see all the on-line reviews about this company and you will see what I mean.Now, I only hope, I don't see any charges in my credit card from this company for services that I never used. I should get compensated for what they did and what they do to customers.So, I will follow up my complaint with the Revdex.com if I end up seeing any type of charges from this company/business. It's very frustrated to understand how these type of businesses exist.This company is no stranger to bad reputation, since I was told that right away from the other company, I luckily ended up getting the items I needed at the last minute.Thank You, for your understanding regarding this and really hope these type of businesses did not exist.Thank you again.

The business practices should be looked at for this business, perhaps.Just Look at all the negative on-line reviews for this company. This company should not be in business.I would like to get some sort of compensation for my troubles and stress I went through for no reason, just because of the business practices by this company.But, I would not tolerate seeing any charges in my credit card from this company at all for services/products I did not get.

I'm not surprised by the type of response from elk grove party rentals business. My intent was to let the Revdex.com know about how this business treats their customers and wanted other customers to see the Revdex.com complaint against this business, so they can make sound decisions and Not go with what I went through because I don't wish to any customer to have their special event ruin by a Non-professional company that does not care and does not honor thier commitments/products ordered. I'm not completely satisfied with the response from this business, but will settle as long as the Revdex.com keeps the complaint on file for this business for others to see. I believe in fairness and professionalism from businesses and that's why I decided to file a complaint with the Revdex.com against the elk grove party rentals business. Thank You for your time and understanding on this matter.

Review: 1. The owner didn't put our payment into the computer, if I hadn't kept a copy of her handwritten invoice and checked in a week after making the original order, she wouldn't of had our order.2. When we arrived our order wasn't ready, the employees didn't know what plates we were supposed to get, I had to go into the warehouse and find them myself. Also I asked about a previous rental from May 2014 for the security deposit and the employee told me that the computers were down. 3. They gave us the wrong chair covers so I had to go back the next morning and get the correct ones. 4. The table cloths, chair covers, and napkins were soiled.5. The owner lead us to believe that we would get the $ 50 security deposit back, if everything was returned, and when we did return everything (1 spoon was missing), she says 'oh no that wasn't refundable'.6. They have dogs roaming around the front office and it smells horrible (animal urine and feces).Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the security deposit for two separate rentals, Totaling $100, one in May 2014 and June 2014. According to California Civil Code 1950.5 section M. No lease or rental agreement may contain any provision characterizing any security as "nonrefundable".

First of all no one is allowed to get there own plates so I am not sure what she is talking about, I was not here when the customer pickedup equipment. Secondly the customers are the ones that tell us what kind of chaircovers they need folding or for banquet chairs. The customer is responsible for informing us of what kind are needed for there chairs. As far as linens and chaircovers being soiled that is absoutely not true that is an exgarration and untrue. All of her payments were accounted for and she paid in full. She is not going to get a refund of any amount because she rented the equipment used it and is not entitled to any amount as a refund. Therefore there is no further information I can provide the customer is being untruthful about what she is saying and there is nothing further to discuss
