Elk Regional Health Center

Review: Elk Regional Health Center billed us for a wellness check as a doctors visit. My insurance allows free wellness checks without a copay. However, the hospital wants us to pay for both wellness checks (two of my daughters had one in a month). I spoke with a [redacted] from Billing department; she said I had to talk to the doctor's office staff to change the billing around. The doctor's office said that they took care of this. I recieved another bill from the hospital that the copay was due. I called [redacted] once more and left a message. I never heard from her again. I called the doctor's office and they said not to worry just throw out those bills. Then we received another bill saying it was going to the collection's agency. My husband called the hospital once more and [redacted] hung up on him. We called the upper manager to fix this. They said they would take care of it. We haven't heard from them (and we contacted them to make sure it was fixed). My husband's credit score has been affected from the creditors.Desired Settlement: We would like the Elk Regional Health Center to change the coding of our bills. They should have the wellness code not a doctor's visit code. I want them to change our debt to $0.00. I want them to contact their credit agency to wipe off Joshua S. Krug's fault and make the credit score go back up to where it was in the beginning of all this.
