Went in for an oil change and to be hooked up to a code reader. Weeks later I called to verify the name of the part I would need to fix my dash lights. I inquired about the oil change because the car wasnt running normal, and they used the info for a 2009 impala that I havent had since 2016, instead of the info for my 2014 malibu. They used the incorrect oil type and possibly the oil filter. It uses synthetic, and they told me my car was between years and it could use either/or. That is untrue and use of regular oil will cause engine damage in a 2014 malibu. I asked for either a refund or for them to change it using the right oil. The owner replied that I would have to pay the difference to change it. They made the mistake and after knowing about the,mistake didnt notify me. They wouldnt have notified me if I hadnt called to ask. theyve already took responsibility for the mistake.
I HAD TALKED WITH *** FEW WEEKS AFTER SHE CAME IN FOR OIL CHANGE. I TOLD HER THEN IF SHE WANTED TO COME IN I WOULD CHANGE THE OIL FOR HER AND SHE WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE FOR THE SYNTH OIL ($15). *** 2014 MALIBU CALLS FOR EITHER OR, WE GAVE HER THE OPTIONS OF WHICH SHE WANTED TO USE AND SHE TOOK THE CONVENTION OIL FOR LESS IN COST.
ALSO, I DIDNT DO A COMPUTER DIAG TO *** VEHICLE I WOULD HAVE CHARGED HER FOR THE DIAG HOOK UP FOR A FEE OF $55.00. I INFORMED HER THAT I WASNT ABLE TO PUT A STATE INSPECTION ON CAR BECAUSE OF THE ABS LIGHT ON, AND TOLD HER SHE PROBABLY HAS A BAD WHEELBEARING OR EVEN A SENSOR WHICH I WOULDNT KNOW FOR SURE UNTIL WE HOOKED VEHICLE TO SCANNER.
SECOND, THE INVOICE SAYS WHICH VEHICLE I SERVICED THAT DAY, I WILL SEND A COPY BACK WITH THIS LETTER. MY OFFICE MANAGER ASKED HER IF SHE HAD THE 2009 IMPALA OR WAS IT DIFFERENT VEHICLE, WHICH WAS SCANNED AND ADDED INTO THE COMPUTER. SO AFTER I SPOKE WITH *** SHE NEVER CALLED OR CAME IN TO CHANGE OUT OIL, I WOULD RATHER GIVE BACK THE $36 AND NOT DEAL WITH DISHONEST CUSTOMER LIKE THIS.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint I ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me but I would appreciate a full refund, especially since most of the first two paragraphs are untrue. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
