Good Afternoon [redacted], As per our last statement that we sent you, the agreed terms of the sale were that you were getting a discount on the price of the SUV and more money for your trade than what it was worth but including in those terms was that the SUV was going to be sold AS-IS which you signed paperwork understanding that. Which you have copies of.  Also In our last statement we had offered you money towards the repairs of the vehicle which we didn’t need to do since we sold the vehicle AS-IS but as a small business trying to do the right thing we thought that was the right thing to do, but as per your last response you weren’t satisfied with that.  Once a vehicle leaves the car lot we have no idea what the customer may do to it (maybe by accidently putting wrong fluid in it or thinking he/she maybe be helping a situation but actually hurting it) or what the vehicle may go through not at fault by the customer or customers knowledge but maybe by the customers surroundings (upset neighbor, ex’s or whomever my feel to harm one’s property). So, you see once we sell something AS-IS we follow the terms of the sale. If the vehicle was purchased with a store warranty then we would follow those terms as well. We can’t refund you your money for the purchase of the vehicle especially when you notified us 2 weeks after the sale. We will still stand by our offer if you choose to accept it and consider this matter closed. Regards, [redacted]
