I, *** *** am formally submitting a response to a complaint filed against my business, ElleBelle Photography, Design & Events, LLC, by Mr*** ***I have attached the documentation I posses to support my claim of dispute to the complaint
filed.
The first attachment is communication between Mrs*** ***, (who I believe to be the complaining party using her husband's name instead,) and myself through Facebook messengerOn numerous occasions Mrs*** stated that she wanted to choose or purchase photographs from the family session, yet only reverted back to wanting to "gossip" and never followed through on completing the processI requested on numerous occasions, both by phone and in person, that she communicate any business matters through other methods outside of FacebookTaking orders, making appointments, and confirming other business matters through social media is against my business policy as this means is unreliable and unprofessional.
The second document is yet another Facebook message sent to my business by another very well known local photographer that is very insulting and belittlingThe ***'s have complained and told this fabricated story to her, as wellI'm certain the quality in my staff's work will be assumed as poor by one of our biggest competitors in town, especially after she was asked to fix a problem with a job she wasn't hired for in the first placeIn addition to the blatant lack of respect and harassment on Christmas Day, I have received a letter from the *** ** ***, your agency and several phone calls from friends, associates and even my ***, questioning the accusations Mrs*** has made very publicly about my business ethics.
Prior to this particular photo shoot, I have worked several jobs for this family free of charge due to the type of person I know Mrs*** to beDifficult, unsatisfied and very opinionated tends to be the end result of all of her business relationshipsThe ***'s were family *** and our children were very close playmatesAs recent as this last mid October, they attended my ***'s birthday partyWithin a couple days of that party, Mr***'s *** passed away and upon learning this, I offered the family the digital files of all of the photos taken at the session in question, to be downloaded at no cost and used as the family wished for the funeralSince then, I have mailed a copyright free CD to The ***'s and a duplicate copy to Ms*** ***, ***s sister who purchased prints immediately following the session and was very pleased with her purchaseThese files on this CD are full size, high resolution, printable photos that are not in any way copyright protected so as to eliminate any need for the client to return to my businessThe cost of this service exceeds $and is not a service I typically offer.
I feel that it is clear from my conversations with Mrs*** prior to this session, that she intentionally disregarded the wishes of her husband's family and it went on too longWhen it became an issue within the family, it was easiest for Mrs*** to place blame on the photographer, me, instead of taking blame for her own actions and lack of responsibility.
