Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Yes, [redacted] did tell me that it MAY need a new transmission, but that he could "try a few things" firstYes he did state that he would come see the car after it broke down minutes after I left his shop? I then proceeded to put the keys in the car because he said he would be by shortlyHe never went byYes the car was towed to his shop, but only AFTER it was impoundedSo I did pay an extra $to get it out of the impound and another $to have it towedThe car was broken into while it was sitting on the side of the roadSo yes he did repair the body damage at no charge because he was at fault for never checking the vehicle as statedIt took months to get the car backWe made numerous attempts to reach him, but to no avail.? To whom it may concern,This is in response to the letter received about a complaint on my Business Leon Valley Auto ServiceCustomer brought in his vehicle to have it check and diagnosedI called customer back to let him know what I had foundI told him that the vehicle needed a new transmission, the fluids in the vehicle were badAt this time he did not want to replace/ rebuild transmission only requested to have the transmission servicedWhich means flushed, add fluids and change filterCustomer picked up vehicle and took it with just the service on the transmissionShortly after customer took the vehicle he called me stating that the vehicle had broke down on the side of the road and wanted me to take a look at itI mentioned that he did need a transmission and I would go take a look at itWhen I arrived he was not there with the keyWhen the customer could finally meet me with the key he saw that the vehicle had been broken intoWe then towed it to my shop and I fixed the damage on the door caused by the break in at NO CHARGEIn conclusion, customer knew that the vehicle needed a new transmission and took the vehicle anywayI did all the repairs that he wanted to pay for.
