I bought Phoenix Teal Absolute Zero Curtains. So glad I bought them. They are truly Room Darkening. They are very dressy, and just look beautiful. The price was very reasonable. I would recommend these curtains. Was going to order online, but walked into Walmart and there they were. I love them.

Review: On January **, 2016 I purchased a pair of Eclipse Blackout Curtains in style/color Windsor Slate from Target in [redacted]. After placing them in my bedroom I decided that it wasn't the right color for the room though I did like the white blackout panel on the back of the curtains as it blocked out all of the light from the window.

On February *, 2016 I went back to Target, returned the Windsor Slate curtains and purchased another set of Eclipse curtains in Fairfax Tan (which were $5 more per panel than the Windsor Slate curtains). Both packages (Windsor Slate + Fairfax Tan) said the exact same things on the front of the packaging "Grommet / Black Out Panel / Blocks Out Over 99% of Light." Unfortunately, this claim is untrue as the Fairfax Tan is light filtering, not light blocking and that makes a very big difference in a bedroom. While I understand that the material used for the Windsor Slate curtains and the Fairfax Tan curtains is different, BOTH claim to block out 99% of light.

I contacted customer service ([redacted]) on February [redacted] to question if there was a factory error with the Fairfax Tan curtains (which I love and which go perfectly in my bedroom) because they're not light blocking like the packaging claims OR if it was a case of mislabeling. I received a friendly email on February [redacted] from Carmela H[redacted] with this explanation:

"Over the years our production mills have changed, which could have caused the difference in the curtains blocking the light evenly. Having said that, we can send you a pair of our Eclipse Thermalayer liners in white. Placing these liners behind your curtains should block out any light."

I wasn't satisfied with that answer but agreed to the free pair of Thermalayer liners. Of course, when they arrived, I discovered that they work with a different curtain style, not with the grommet style curtains I purchased. And, in truth, I had the option of purchasing a white blackout liner at Target to go behind any style of curtain but I chose not to go that route due to the outgassing of the material usually used in that type of curtain liner and the bulkiness it would create on the window.

In summary, I feel duped and misled by the package labeling on the Eclipse curtains I purchased. I searched for hours online before renting a Zipcar, going to Target and picking them out in person. If the curtains do not block out 99% of light, they should update their packaging so as not to mislead and inconvenience another customer then give a lame excuse as to their shortcomings. Their explanation makes them appear to not care and not have control or perhaps lack oversight in their production and packaging processes.Desired Settlement: I would like Ellery Homestyles to contact me and let me know if the Fairfax Tan curtains are made or can be made to be 99% light blocking like their packaging claims. If not, I'd like a refund for the curtains I purchased ($24.99 x 2 + 6.25% MA tax) as well as a commitment to change their packaging claims to reflect the truth so as not to mislead consumers.

Review: I bought their curtains for a spare bedroom approximately last year. I washed the curtains according to their labeled washing directions. When I took the curtains out of the washing machine all six panel curtains were destroyed.

This was the first and only time I washed these curtains.Desired Settlement: I would agree to replacement curtains in which I would hand wash in the future.

Pewter panels total six (6) : 2 (two) 63" and 4(four) 54" panels.
