Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The buisness never explained any of the details they just elaborated onThe service person just hung up on my husbandAgain, my husband did the oil change to the correct specifications and is one of the most responsible people I ever met, and would never of left the mower low on oilWe decided to take the mower back from Ellington Agway to get a second opinion elsewhereThe interesting fact, is that Ellington Agway insisted that thr mower' s engine was seized and would not start, although the other service center we brought it to, got the mower started and are now trying to determine the cause of the oil spewing into the air filter Sincerely, [redacted]

On August 1, we did look at the customer push mowerThe complaint stated on work order was Customer was mowing lawn and the mower stalled outCustomer tried to restart and noticed oil coming out of the air filterThis is a signthat at some point the mower was run low on oil, got hot and scored the piston and cylinder, it increased the crankcase pressure and reduce compression ( hard starting reduced power ) and what oil is in the machine gets pushed out of the carburetor, air filter, breather I called the customer and he stated he changed his oil himself I explained what we found and that at this point, economically, the cost to repair would be the same to replace the push mower He said he would let me know and and would consider buying a new machine I do not at any time believe we are unprofessionalWe fully explained how and why the engine would fail to the husband The engine is with [redacted] *hich they would have to determine by our diagnoses if they would replace/ repair engineAgain, the machines value is less then the cost to repairThe customer is looking to use her warranty, which at any point she can call the engine manufacturer to discuss her concern If [redacted] approves any replacement or repair, we would gladly help the customer

Review: March 6, 2014Ellington Agway Power Equipment[redacted]To whom it may concern;I dispute the bill sent to me for the sum of $37.22 on account [redacted]. I have tried to resolve this bill for services I did not receive on two previous occasions as outlined below.December 2013, received the first invoice. I called your place of business and reported the error. The person on the phone said it would be taken care of.February 3, 2014, received the second invoice. I called [redacted], he stated that the service was performed and the invoice needs to be paid. My husband brought the cutters to [redacted] that afternoon for him to visually inspect to see they have not been sharpened. [redacted] would not confirm or deny he saw evidence of the cutters being sharpened. Of note, the reported date of sharpening was November 2013, anyone I know does not prune their shrubs when they are have been covered in snow since December. March 6, 2014, received the third invoice to which this letter is addressed.I have never used your service department, but I am certain you are not in the practice of performing repairs and sharpening services without taking payment when the product is picked up from your service department. [redacted] in his own words said it is odd that this would have been placed on account. Please remit a corrected invoice. I have never been subject to such aberrant behavior by any other business, the behavior of [redacted] with me on the on the phone and with my husband in person was rude and combative.[redacted]Desired Settlement: correct the invoice.
