To whom it may concern We apologize for not taking care of this in a timely mannerThat being said, we are only responsible for the damage that occured at our storeAfter receiving the estimate from "his guy", we called to confirm the needThe person at the body shop told us that the only work needed to fix the damage we had done to the customers car could be fixed for a total of $We were told by the body shop employee that the customer was requesting additional work over & above the work needed to fix what we damaged on his carHe even stated to my partner Jeff, that if the customer came in to do all the work that they gave an estimate for, they would not perform it, if it was expected that we, Elliott Tire & Service, was to incur the full costAgain, we damaged the car & are willing to fix what we damagedNothing moreFurthermore, there is no need to claim this nominal cost to our insurance companySincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have received the estimate for the damage that was done to the front of the car in the shop of Elliot Tire & Service CenterI never have received any additional hard copy estimates for any additional work nor I have tried to include any other work to be done on the car by the body shop I have asked the body shop to give me a separate estimate what it would cost to fix two scratches that my car has on the driver door, on the side of my car, that I would pay out of my pocket, Estimator verbally told me how much it would be and never included that in the estimate I will be visiting the shop again and talking to the estimator regarding [redacted] statement I can take my car to some of the finest Body shops in Bellevue , Seattle like [redacted] and etcI am sure the estimate may be much higher since they only deal with import upscale carsFrankly , I don't care about the cost of the repair , since Jeffs Insurance Company will be paying directly to the body shop I want my car fixedI didn't ask for it to be hit and sit here and spend my valuable time doing this I have provided the pictures of the Damage to the Revdex.com, Attorney General and Commissioners Office and will be opening up a suit with my Lawyer if this doesn't get resolved soon enough When I visited the body shop, which was my first and only body shop I stopped by what was near my office, I told the body shop that I want the car repaired properly I said I do not want any after market parts, ( Chinese, Taiwanese on a German $ 80k + car) I do not want any shortcuts or bondo workIf there is a damage , dents, body damage you do not use bondo, glue and other cheap ways and items that with peel with timeAs a customer of the Elliot Tire & Service Center address: Elliott Tire & Service Center Tire Shop Address: 128th St SW, Everett, WA Phone: (425) 348- I reserve the right as a party who's car was smashed in the shop, by incompetent employee of the Elite Tire & Service Center, to have my car fixed to the standards that is done to any luxury car and any reputable repair shop, not approval of the owner At this point I don't think the owners of the business got a say or should dictate how, when and where my car gets repaired On top of that owners and other employees I have dealt with are giving me the run around, being dishonest and trying to negotiate with meI have a right to have my car fixed where I want, and to the same or better condition it was before, now worse Jeff told me he has talked to the body shop and the estimator told him he could do the repairs cheaper by cutting corners , taking my parts off, heating them, molding them and bending them and putting bondo on it ( cutting corners) That is not how you repair thingsIf something is broken , dented you replace itJeff originally wanted to take my car to his "Guy" , what am I at a the black market to have someone I don't know ( Jeff ***, the Owner of the business) take my car to the some "Guy" to do repairs? Jeff told me he doesn't want to use his insurance company and wants to pay out of the pocket, because they claim many accident claim After reading [redacted] response, It is clear to me what kind of business they operateI took my Range [redacted] there years ago and they screwed up my brakes that made noises for months afterThey charged me more than what the [redacted] Dealership would of charged me for the stock brakes and put on the after market cheap brakes, that were lesser grade for more Paul and Tim the Manages that were talking to me at the time of My Car being damages both gotten fired days later Body shop has given me the estimate for the work as it is broken down in details in the estimateNo where in the estimate it includes any other areas of the car, no where in the estimate it covers anything esle other than what Elliot Tire & Service Center Machanic has cause to my viechle when it was in their supervision and care Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] is lying through his teeth They never told my wife anything until AFTER she had already paid for the alignment that was not needed As a matter of fact, they never told her anything even then Like I said, we found out a few days later from our mechanic There is no way around the fact that they performed a service which they knew for a fact would need to be redone as soon as the other work was performed [redacted] can try and blow smoke wherever he wants to, but there is no way around it He acknowledged that his guys never informed my wife that she would have to have the alignment redone within days, and knowing this, they did the alignment anyway without giving her the info she needed to make an informed decision We just "shut up and do it" is the lamest excuse I have ever heard I'm sure this only applies when it will earn you some money that you probably would not earn if you did the right thing and spoke up I see we are far from the first people to complain about the tactics at Elliott Tire & Service judging by the other reviews I saw on [redacted] (besides the ones that are appear to be written by friends and family) I don't really care about the $dollars Like I said, it's an inexpensive lesson about where you should and should NOT take your vehicle for service If I save even person from making the same mistake (walking through the doors of Elliott Tire & Service) that we made, it will be worth every penny By the way, I edited my own [redacted] review to simply state the facts And the fact is you performed work that did no other good than taking $from an unadvised customer Period[redacted] ***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I have consulted with the manufacturer and another repair facility and they both stated that Elliott Tire & Service is at fault because they didn't use *** Mfluid

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
I have called back and tried to get a hold of an adjuster times , after no response or call backs for many days I got a hold of an adjuster Insurance company has hired some private 3rd party company to perform an appraisal of the damage I waited for almost a week , no one has contacted me or set up an appointment After I called the insurance company again, they told me appraiser came out to my car , without my knowledge and looked at itI asked why that person has not scheduled an appointment with me or called me? They said he was in the area and just stopped byInsurance appraiser to this day has not talked to me , or tried to ask me what is wrong with the car Owner of Elite Tire is upset that Revdex.com has not closed this complaint yet , how exactly should I feel that it has been months and my car has not even been fixed yet Owner (Jeff) refused for first two month to even provide me with his insurance company He was hagling with me , and wanted me to trust my car to him so he can take it to his guy to fix itThank God for Revdex.com , some sort of action has been taken and Jeff started making some sort of actionsIt is sad that a business needs to be forced by an agency like attorney general , Revdex.com to deliver to customers what they are by law obligated to provide Leaving your car in their supervision to change tires and do alignment should not result in their employees hitting walls and posts with it This case is no where near being closed or fixedAt this point I am spending huge amounts of time chasing Jeffs insurance company adjuster and still waiting for a call from insurance appraiser Sincerely,*** ***

To whom it may concern
The transmission fluid that came out of the customers car was tested by ***, & found to be compliant with the fluid they produce for the vehicleThere were trace metals in the sample, which is a sign that internal components are starting to break down in the transmissionIt is impossible to know which parts those are, until the transmission totally failsAs I stated before, the customer is still driving vehicle, as it is drivableThe vehicle had been driven approximately months & miles prior to vehicle having any problems with the transmission after our service. We assume no responsibility in this matterSincerely, Eric m***

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
When I pickup my vehicle in May 2015 the mechanic stated the transmission fluid looked normal and that everything was fine. Nine months later Elliott's admitted the fluid is not normal looking and their report from [redacted] states there is now damage that is occurring due to the wrong fluid in my transmission. [redacted] confirmed the fluid had a burnt smell and the color was wrong.
Elliott's stated in their response that they used [redacted] transmission fluid not the required fluid. [redacted] stated in a letter sent out to all repair shops that failure to use [redacted] M-5 fluid will result in damage to the transmission.
Per the document I emailed and the two times Elliott's admitted not using [redacted] transmission fluid, clearly they are at fault and they are refusing to accept responsibility for the damage they caused by not using the required M-5 fluid.
I need the Revdex.com to step in and Make Elliott's rectify their mistake. They are clearly refusing to take responsibility even after they have provided proof that they didn't follow [redacted] requirements for properly maintaining my transmission.
Sincerely,[redacted]

To whom it may concern
We are currently sending the fluid to a lab to verify what fluid was used, so that we can determine if we are at fault. We have informed the customer. We are told that the process takes a few weeks. We will be in contact with the customer as soon as we have the results....

Sincerely, Eric M[redacted]

needed to fix the damage we had done to the customers car could be fixed for a total of $1200. We were told by the body shop employee that the customer was requesting additional work over & above the work needed to fix what we damaged on his car. To whom it may concern
We did not do anything wrong in this situation. There was a break down in communication. I have instructed my manager at the store to give this customer a refund. Sincerely, Eric M[redacted]

I have received the estimate for the damage that was done to the front of the car in the shop of Elliot Tire & Service Center. I never  have received any additional  hard copy  estimates for any additional work nor I have tried to include any other work to be done on the car by the body shop.  I have asked the body shop to give me a separate  estimate what it would cost to fix two scratches that my car has on the driver door, on the side of my car, that I would pay out of my pocket, Estimator verbally told me how much it would be  and never included that in the estimate.  I will be visiting the shop again and talking to the estimator regarding [redacted] false statement.  I can take my car to  some of the finest Body shops in Bellevue , Seattle like ** * and etc. I am sure the estimate may be much higher since they only deal with import upscale cars. Frankly , I don't care about the cost of the repair , since Jeffs Insurance Company will be paying directly to the body shop.  I want my car fixed. I didn't ask for it to be hit and sit here and spend my valuable time doing this.  I have provided the pictures of the Damage to the Revdex.com, Attorney General and Commissioners Office and will be opening up a suit with my Lawyer if this doesn't get resolved soon enough.  When I visited the body shop, which was my first and only body shop I stopped by  what  was near my office, I told the body shop that I want the car repaired properly.  I said I do not want any after market parts, ( Chinese, Taiwanese on a German $ 80k + car)  I do not want any shortcuts or bondo work. I reserve the right as a party who's car was smashed in  the shop, by incompetent employee of the Elite Tire & Service Center, to have my car fixed to the standards that is done to any luxury car and any reputable repair shop, not approval of the owner.  At this point I don't think the owners of the business got a say or should  dictate how, when and where my car gets repaired.  On top of that owners and 3 other employees I have dealt with are giving me the run around, being dishonest and trying to negotiate with me. ( cutting corners) That is not how you repair things. If something is broken , dented you replace it. After reading [redacted] response, It is clear to me what kind of business they operate. I took my Range [redacted] there 3 years ago and they screwed up  my brakes that made noises  for months after. They charged me more than what the [redacted] Dealership would of charged me for the stock brakes and put on the  after market cheap brakes,   that were lesser grade for more.
Paul and Tim the  Manages that were talking to me at the time of My Car being damages both gotten fired days later.

.  Body shop has given me the estimate for the work as it is broken down in details in the estimate. No where in the estimate it includes any other areas of the car, no where in the estimate it covers anything esle other than what Elliot Tire & Service Center Machanic has cause to my viechle when it was in their supervision and care.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:[redacted] is lying through his teeth.  They never told my wife anything until AFTER she had already paid for the alignment that was not needed.  As a matter of fact, they never told her anything even then.  Like I said, we found out a few days later from our mechanic.  There is no way around the fact that they performed a service which they knew for a fact would need to be redone as soon as the other work was performed.  [redacted] can try and blow smoke wherever he wants to, but there is no way around it.  He acknowledged that his guys never informed my wife that she would have to have the alignment redone within days, and knowing this, they did the alignment anyway without giving her the info she needed to make an informed decision.  We just "shut up and do it" is the lamest excuse I have ever heard.  I'm sure this only applies when it will earn you some money that you probably would not earn if you did the right thing and spoke up.  I see we are far from the first people to complain about the tactics at Elliott Tire & Service judging by the other reviews I saw on [redacted] (besides the ones that are appear to be written by friends and family).  I don't really care about the $100 dollars.  Like I said, it's an inexpensive lesson about where you should and should NOT take your vehicle for service.  If I save even 1 person from making the same mistake (walking through the doors of Elliott Tire & Service) that we made, it will be worth every penny.  By the way, I edited my own [redacted] review to simply state the facts.  And the fact is you performed work that did no other good than taking $100 from an unadvised customer.  Period.[redacted]

To whom it may concernI spoke with Mr. [redacted] in regards to his complaint. In my investigation of his wife's experience at the store, I found no wrong doing. Ms. [redacted] came in & requested an alignment based on tire wear & the vehicle pulling. We found that it needed tires(pull), &...

recommended shocks & struts as preventative maintenance. We also noted that the rack & pinion steering unit was starting to seap power steering fluid. None of these recommended services was needed to make the alignment complete. At 57,000 miles, which is what the vehicle had on it, the recommendation for struts & shocks is warranted after 50,000 miles because it will cause premature tire wear. The leakage of the rack & pinion unit was premature failure, but nevertheless, it was starting to leak. (not an immediate fix at this time, but would need to be done in the future) After informing Ms. [redacted] of the recommendations to solve the problems she came in with, she questioned the need for tires & our knowledge of recommendations to solve the problems.(she told us her mechanic said that a tire would not cause a pull unless a belt was broken in a tire-not true-we are the experts.) She also informed us that she had her own mechanic to do the work. She told us just to perform the original alignment service she requested. So that is what we did. Mr. [redacted]'s accusation of us taking advantage of his wife is totally unfounded. As well, is the change of tone in our voice & how she was treated. We got the vehicle done on time requested. We noted & informed Ms. [redacted] of the recommendations of service, as well as, informing her that it would still pull due to the tires needing replacement, & wear tires prematurely due to the worn struts & shocks. When talking to Mr. [redacted] on the phone, he admitted that we were both not involved in the conversation first hand & may not know all the facts. He was adamant that we knew what we were doing trying to take advantage of his wife. I explained to him that in a presentation of a sale, when somebody  says "no thanks" to the additional work, but asks us to still perform the original work they came in for, that we "shut up" & do what is requested. If there was a component that was an integral need or unsafe ,so that we could not do what was requested, we would have declined doing the original service requested. That was not the case in this instance. On another note, both Mr. [redacted] & his wife have posted unwarranted negative reviews  on [redacted] that I have already spent time on, & will have its affect on my business.([redacted] has since filtered their reviews based on their guidelines of practice) I'm sticking to my original comment to Mr. [redacted], that I cannot fault my guys in this case, & I will not be refunding the money. He made comment that he would be writing this letter to the Revdex.com, & whatever he had to do to get the word out.We are all about righting our wrongs. In this case, there is no" wrong" to be "righted". Sincerely, [redacted].
