Ellis Moving Company

My furniture was to be delivered between 5pm and 8pmI received a text in the early afternoon asking me to call them, which I didThey wanted to where I was and were in so many words telling me I needed to leave workI tried explaining that was not the arrangementThey did not careI left work early to accommodate themThey brought the furniture in and dumped itLeft all of the packing materials on itAfter they left, I saw that they had left huge boxes outside that would interfere with trafficWhen I checked my delivery the plastic covering the couch was ripped and I was missing the throw pillows and the legs were not attachedNo pre- drilled holes to attach them eitherNow I'm left with a situation that I don't have the knowledge or tools to correctI am seeking restitution from the store whet I purchased the furnitureIf I ever go to make another purchase and they use Ellis, I will not purchase thereI have never had such a negative delivery experience and I have purchased furniture for over yearsBeware of this company and refuse to use them They literally took my $for the delivery of pieces of furniture and I only live miles from the store

I called them at 7pm to see where they were as I had plans and had to pick up my elderly mother to come for the delivery as you need someone over the age of present The showed up at my house at 815pm, basically dumped the furniture in the middle of my living room, my elderly mother couldn't move it out of the way so had to climb around it to leaveThey never apologized or offered any type of explanation or anything to compensate for the inconvenience they caused myself or my family This is absolutely the LAST time I will use them and I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to use them An apology is all I needed and didn't get that
