The $ amount was what we lost in pay, awaiting the scheduled appointment made with the Paintco Company. We made sure to schedule our estimate after lunch hours, and also, we didn't specially didn't schedule for our own clients as not too conflict with the appointment we had made with...
Paintco, whom canceled with us 7 minutes before they where due at our residence. It was just so rude too call for confirmation of the set time for 1:30pm, then await after stating they where running late, when what they really did was take a paying customer, and waited 7 minutes prior too cancel our standing appointment. We could've taken a client ourselves and thats8 $125.00 we lost, because we depended on this company to show up. There reasons for cancellation was absurd, rude, unprofessional, out right wrong. You don't call people to confirm then continue to mislead them, before being forth right.

Regarding this specific experience, we had a scheduled Estimate with our "perspective customer" that was scheduled by our Office Manager. Our Estimator called to confirm the scheduled appointment 90 minutes prior to the appointment and left a Voicemail. The call was returned by the "prospective customer" 15 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment, at that time they were told we would be running behind since the appointment was not confirmed. Once our Estimator determined the distance and time of arrival he called the "prospective customer" back to let her know that it would be 45 minutes before he could arrive and offered her to reschedule at another time. At that time the "prospective customer" disconnected the call. An email was sent to the "prospective customer" apologizing for any confusion and explaining that we require an interior estimate to be confirmed as we have a large coverage area and high request of estimates. In response we have received many hateful and false accusations through texts and emails from this "prospective customer." Our company strives to leave a positive impression with anyone we come in contact with and it's highly disappointing to us that it was not the case in this situation.
