pick up her wedding gown for her wedding dayOn 6/2/2012, we called and left message to pick up her items,we did not hear from herOn 6/6/2012, we left a second message on her voicemail to come and pick up her items, we did not hear from her againIn the later part of 2012, Ms.*** called and told us that her wedding was cancelled and to hold on to her items,I said we normally don't do this but we'll keep it for a whileyears later sometime in July 2014, Ms.*** and her son,showed up at the store demanding the returnof her items or a full refundOur clerk told her that we no longer have her items because she left it here for more than years and we never heard from her and told her that according to our Store Policy:Any items left days after your wear date,it will be considered abandoned and the items will become the property of Elly's FWAt the end of year inventory, her wedding gownwas put back on the floorObviously, Ms*** had forgotten that she had not picked up her items untilshe found the receipt when she was moving last July 2014.Legally, Elly's Formalwear is not obligated to owe her any money.The employee abided by Elly's FW Policy by not giving her any refund or returning the items.Ms*** had ample time (more than years) to pick up her items.Nevertheless,on Dec16th 2014, Icontacted Ms***,and told her that we did indeed have her wedding gown and veil, and to come pick it up.Ms*** told me that she now lives on another stateImailed her wedding gown and veil via *** on Dec17th 2014.Enclosed are copies of the original sales receipt that Ms*** had signed on the day of purchase along with documentations of phone calls and conversations.Hopefully this will resolve the matter
