*** *** was a resident here at Elm Park Estates for approximately four (4) years. All of our staff did an excellent job of looking after her and helping her in many ways as evidenced by her son thanking us and paying us compliments almost every time he visited
here, which was frequently. Like all of our residents, there was an residency agreement in place that specified among other things a procedure for moving out. We performed all of the services required of us and then some for ***. Due to her health, during the last 6-months of her residency here, her son asked specufic questions about the move-out procedureand we verbally explained everything in the residency agreement. We worked with the son a number of times to minimize the financial impact of *** moving out. He eventually told us that she refused to move and would be staying put. Some time after that, *** fell and was hospitalized. Her son notified us that she would not be able to return and would be going to a nursing home. We explained the move-out procedure to him again at that time. *** left here with an unpaid balance of $1,which appears to be the crux of his complaint. While preparing this response, I checked with our home office accounting department and learned that the balance was paid in full on April 22, 2014. So as far as we know, there is no dispute remaining. Please feel free to contact me if additional information is needed

Review: My mother-in-law, [redacted] lived in Elm Park estates for about 4 years. On Jan. 15, 2014, she fell and was in the hospital a week. We told them she would not be back, with her injuries, she would have to go to a nursing home. They continue to send her a bill for over $1200.00, with no explanation. She paid her rent for the month of Jan. She is going on 93 years old, in a wheelchair, and has dementia. she would not understand this mail, and has no money. It seems they are trying to get money for services not rended. Anything you can do to help will be greatly appreciatted! [redacted]Desired Settlement: To forget this bill. She always paid on time when she lived there.

Review: I put a deposit of $1,350 down at Elm Park Estates to rent a apartment in good faith. The reason that I put the deposit down is because I had a contact to sell my home and I needed to feel that I had somewhere else to live after my home was sold. I also received a letter from the mortgage company that everything looked good with the loan and that I would close on July 10, 2013. The week of the closing the loan was rejected by the underwriting department and the sale of my home was cancelled. I didnt have $1,350.00 in my checking account so I had to charge it on my credit card. I would only be able to afford to move into Elm Park Estates if I did sell my home. I spoke with [redacted] at Elm Park and informed him that the sell of my home was cancelled and please refund the $1,350 back to me. He asked if I would write a letter stating the circumstances. I did and he forwarded it to his manager which in turn denied my request to refund my #1,350 deposit. I am a 83 year old lady on a fixed income and I feel that this company has taken advantage of me by not refunding my deposit. I now have to hire a attorney to represent me in this matter.Desired Settlement: I was unable to move into Elm Park Estates by no fault of my own so I would like the deposit of $1,350 refunded back to me,
