We received a complaint via email from this customer on September 1st, 2015. Her complaint stated that she was not satisfied with her cake order and that she would like a refund. We responded the same day after reviewing photos of the finished...

cake and discussing the order with our decorators. After review of the customer cake order and the finished product we determined that the cake created was in the spirit of the order and completed to the best of our ability. The order requested was for a tie dye cake and we feel that our finished product reflected a tie dye cake look with the birthday message requested by the customer. In an effort to offer some compensation to the customer we offered a 25% discount on the cake order in the form of a gift card to our establishment. The customer refused this offer and threatened to attempt to hurt our reputation online via facebook as well as submit a complaint with the Revdex.com if we did not comply with her demands of a $40.00 refund on the cake. When we did not comply with her demand she made good on her promises. Our offer still stands to offer this customer a store credit at 25% of her cake order value.
