We have warranty programs in place for most of our sharpeners that require proof of purchase. If receipts are unavailable, we ask that the consumer provide us with coded information that can be found on the bottom of the units identifying the model and production date. MrHunter could not provide us with any proof of purchase. However, we are sending him a new sharpener for his classroom as a one time courtesy

Being that the case, I cannot blame Elmer's for my problem, as it seems that the fault is mine.I usually buy two or three of things like this, as when I want something, I want it and I do not want tochase down to any place of business to obtain sameI did look at the labels on a couple of other Elrners and there is no place printed that tells about the agelimit, etc., etcBut, their reply to your/my request about the hardening of the glue, can't be blamed on Elmer's, after whatthey stated in your reply to meThe fault is mineAt lease I found out when, why and howIt would appear that Elmer's is sending me a replacement bottleof glue which is not necessary, since the fault is not theirs or their productAt least, I did get a reply and I shall watch the dates, and the age of their products from here on outI THANK both of you parties,Revdex.com and Eher's for both of your helpU ALL TAKE CARE AND DON'T GET WET THE NEXT TIME IT RAINSHI....O...SILVERa w a yyyyyyyyyyyyyy......................................O U C H

We have carefully examined the facts and circumstances surrounding this claim. We are aware that we cannot
always ensure personal satisfaction of the color to which our wood filler products will stain. This is why we state on the finishing instructions of our Probond Wood Filler products, "before filling, test stain on scrap wood with the filler."
This ensures the consumer can see exactly what the filler will look like before deciding to apply it to a project. Unfortunately we can only guarantee our product if the written instructions are followed and, therefore, we cannot pay a claim based upon this conclusion
