Our customer’s vehicle was involved in an accident and wewere contracted to repair the damage that was sustained in relation to theaccident. We repaired the driver’s side front of the vehicle which was thedamage that was reported. We are very concerned about this...

complaint that you receivedand as soon as we received your email we contacted our customer. We had the customer come back and did diagnostics to addressthe driveability problem as per complaint. We found that there are maintenance issues that the owner has to repair firstin order to determine if there are any problems existing as a result of theaccident.  We communicated to ourcustomer that a tune-up is not accident related but a maintenance issue and notpart of this claim with the insurance company. Yes, the insured of the vehicle who hit him has a limitedliability coverage policy and the maximum amount of that policy has already been reached as per the insurancecompany.  We advised our customer to setup a claim under his under-insured motorist part of his insurance policy ifthere needs to be any additional repairs done to vehicle as a result of thisclaim.  Once this were done, if hisinsurance company authorized the repairs, we would be glad to do those repairs. The additional items that were noted as part of thiscomplaint that were not a result of the accident were discussed with ourcustomer and we have come to an agreement. Should you need further information please contact us.  Thank you

Review: I was in an accident and Elmer's was to repair the vehicle to what it was before. We received the vehicle back and one of the handles was missing from the cab on the back. (1 handle was already broke but that was on the other side and is still there.) The passenger side handle to exit the vehicle is broken and now you have to roll the window down to get out of the vehicle. The driver side door now grinds when it is opened and closed. The electrical system was supposed to be fixed and yet the hazard lights still don't work. The vehicle has a hard time starting and accelerating which is unsafe. They put an original tire back on that has a huge gouge in it from the accident. The check engine light is still on. The day the vehicle was recovered they said let us know if any problems arise. So the next day I contact them and they say all the insurance money has been exhausted and that we would have to take the person to small claims court to get the rest of the repairs done.Desired Settlement: I want the vehicle to be repaired as if it was their vehicle. I would like to feel safe when I am in my vehicle and not be scared when I am driving.
