is inaccurate. During the repair Elmwood Car Service discovered one of the reasons her car was not operating properly was due to the fact it was not “sparking”. Although we did not receive Ms. [redacted]’s permission, we installed a used distributor at no cost to Ms. [redacted] which subsequently failed and we replaced it with another used distributor at no cost to her. During the 2nd installation we did pinch the fuel line but immediately repaired the fuel line. Due to fact the distributor was defective we installed a new distributor at her expense and her permission. Prior to returning the car to Ms. [redacted] we told her it appeared the catalytic converter may be bad, we were not asked to inspect it as such we did not perform a diagnosis to verify our suspicions. We also told her the air conditioner compressor was going bad and she stated that she would it taken care of by another business. As a suggestion we did tell her of an option available, cutting the compressor belt until the compressor could be replaced. In regard to the part of her complaint regarding the towing company; we have nothing to do the towing company. That part of her complaint is beyond my and the business’ control. Any complaint against involving the towing company should be addressed with the towing company. [redacted]
