This complaint has come as a surprise as no phone calls have been received from customer since 2015. It is true we installed a new roof in 2011, and a leak occurred some years later. Tracking a leak can be difficult and we believed we had resolved the matter as there has been no further...

communication since 2015. The last time our crew was on location it had just rained the previous days, there was some standing water on flat roof where the leak was occurring but it was not leaking inside. It only leaked when it rained which pointed us to inspect the cracked stucco on the parapet walls. If the roof had water and it was not leaking at time of inspection then it was not a roof leak. As customer states we sealed some of the cracked stucco on the parapet walls with silicon on last visit and leak stopped. We have no record that further communication was received since then from customer. If the parapet walls have been re stucco since then we will be glad to inspect roof. If no repairs have been made to stucco that will be first step to resolving leak. Please call us ###-###-#### to inspect roof if stucco issues have been repaired.

I am rejecting this response because: The response is a lie. I was not trying to get them to fix the whole roof just the part that leaked where they had supposedly fixed it before. I was not confrontational at all. I was cussed at in Spanish and in English. I was called a liar and a racist. Plus the company did absolutely nothing at all on my roof.  I called my neighbor over because I knew he spoke Spanish. The workers had initially told me they didn't speak English. This also turned out to be a lie. The bottom line is that the area that leaked is not fixed. I paid to have it fixed. I want a refund for that area.I did not "threaten legal action" I only said I would contact the Revdex.com and/or the AG office. We apologize for the rescheduling issue. Yes it is true we did not show up on the day scheduled, but it's only because it had rained the day before, the roofs where wet and we could not have repaired the roof to our satisfaction. We did however leave a voicemail explaining the situation. It has been...

very difficult to communicate with customer as the phone call always go into voicemail, we leave messages but the calls do not get returned. We have gone over and above to please customer, as he states, a crew went and repaired his roof on a different day than scheduled. He then called Kyle and stated all repairs discussed were not completed. Kyle personally went out and sealed a small area on the cap sheet. He then had kyle come back again and seal some small crack on the stucco with silicon. We have had employees out at this house three different times. He then called the office wanting to get out of contract once work had been completed and was told he had to pay invoice. We have been in business for over 20 years serving Albuquerque and surrounding areas. You don't stay in business this long by providing bad service as customer states. Customer just wants to get out of his financial obligation to pay for services rendered. This will get forwarded to our legal department for collections if not payed within 10 business days. No further correspondence will be provided in this matter.

Customer history as follows; Customer contacted Sundance Roofing in May 2015 for estimate. In May 2015 [redacted] provided estimate, he was told "can't afford to re-roof whole house". [redacted] mentioned that the roof was old but she only wanted to stop leaks on flat roof. A proposal was given to repair...

large flat roof on south side $1,100 and small flat roof on north side $325 of house. In May 2015 repairs were done to flat roofs for a cost of $1,425 + tax. We then had numerous record setting rains over the following months, no leaks reported.  In October 2015 customer contacted Sundance Roofing to report a leak at the entry area small flat north side roof. Estimator responded within 24 hrs. to inspect leak. Estimator explained leak may be coming from pitch shingle roof valley on house an area not worked on originally. However Sundance Roofing would send a crew out to look and see if we could seal up leak at no charge (courtesy call to existing customer). After rains stopped and roof was dry enough to worked on, customer was contacted and told a crew would be going by to inspect leak. She was told that crew had other stops before hers but they would be by there that day. Crew arrived at customer house knocked on door and identified themselves as Sundance Roofing employees. [redacted] answered the door and was confrontational with employees and told them they had to fix roof because she had already paid to have roof repaired. They told her, that is why they were there, to fix roof. She started getting rude and confrontational again when employees set ladder on shingle roof. They told her they didn't want to set ladder on flat roof because they did not want to damage gutter on flat roof. She then started yelling and screaming at employees so loud that her neighbors came over. At that time our employees asked her if she wanted them to leave. She said “no I want you to fix roof”, at that time the neighbors started telling our employees that they needed to fix roof. Our employees after being belittled by customer and neighbors responded in a professional manner and repaired the valley on the shingle roof. After sealing area employees left the house.As soon as employees left the job a phone call was received at our office from some man that was rude and  and confrontational. The man stated he wanted the roof fixed and that there were some broken board that needed to be fixed. He said if there was going to be any arguing it would be with him. The person at the office that answered the phone had no idea what the man was talking about. Finally after he vented he identified himself as [redacted] neighbor.We had an estimator contact [redacted] to find out what was going on after we we spoke to our employees. She was rude confrontational, yelling profanity and threatening legal action. Sundance Roofing will not issue any refund as every attempt was made to resolve the issue. There was in fact 1 occasion, and on that occasion the person stated to have come (Kyle) was not there. I informed them I would not contract with them any further after I had been consistently lied to and the work has still not been completed as they claim. I do not wish to "get out of my financial obligation" as the business has stated, I simply refuse to pay them full price for work left incomplete and conducted unprofessionally.
