My review is a lengthy one of degreesWe purchased a unit a couple years ago and paid I believe around$After having the new unit installed I can assure you that we had to have the company out no less than times to service the unitAfter many many months of headaches and problems the company agreed to switch out that unit and replaced it with a Heil unitThe company promises to save a certain percent off your electric bill and a promise of first priority on service callsI can assure you we have not seen the savings on our electric bill, in fact we have had the oppositeOur electric bill is higher now (during all seasons) then it has ever beenWe keep our thermostat set on and the unit continually runsThis has been checked many times and have always been told everything is working as it shouldWe had the service contract for a couple of years, of which were free and year that we paid forNow that we have moved on from degrees and have another local company providing service on our system we are being told that our unit is undersized for our houseOh well I guess we have learned our lessonIf anything I have stated is disputed by the company and they keep records on their customers, let the evidence speak for itself
The HVAC industry (both contractors and manufacturers) seem to have earned a reputation lately as being predatory Reading on a website (frequented mainly by HVAC techs) recently I found this comment "If you are not trying to sell whole systems, you are leaving money on the table." We have two heat pumps in our house and three contractors said we needed to replace both systems at 16k Mike from Degrees came out yesterday and showed that there are no significant issues with either system but for a minor repair on the downstairs system From now on I will always call Honest, friendly, hard working folks
We used 72 degrees for the first time when our air conditioning wasn't cooling. They came out and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes. Very nice man and we liked the service. We will use them if and when we have another problem. I highly recommend 72 degrees.
