I used to use them and stopped for a few years. Tried it again and quickly found that I was paying $14 per call for my existing customers to find and call us from an internet search. I called about it and they said that it was unusual, and they would make a change to fix the issue. After they said the issue was fixed, I was still receiving calls from my existing customers, and would have had to pay $14 each if I didn't listen to every call and dispute the call. Glad I only spent a few hundred dollars before figuring it out and cancelling. I am certain that 75% of the calls we received were existing customers trying to call my company, not new leads like they suggest.

If you choose to try it, make sure you listen to every call. And you only have 4 days to dispute a call, so you will need to check the calls several times a week.

eLocal has created thousands of fake Google business listings, complete with dozens of of fake 5-star reviews. When someone calls one of those companies, thinking they'll be connected with a good, local professional, they get transferred to a call center where eLocal collects their personal information so they can sell it to companies that actually exist. Shady and illegal.

I didn't click on even one star. That means I was anything but satisfied with this scam company. Let me just say that the sales representative that sold me this service completely misrepresented his company just to get my money. As an attorney, I was very reluctant to give just any company my hard-earned dollars for advertising. My rep. promised that ALL leads are pre-screened by his company. That every lead, before coming to me, was determined by elocal to be able to pay an attorney for their criminal or traffic case. I relied, to my detriment, upon the promises made by this person. With every call I received from elocal, NOT ONE could pay me. They all wanted to make payments of $100.00 a month for felony criminal cases. What a joke! Either that or they just wanted advice for their case. They all got my number through third party websites elocal uses to advertise. On those sites, there's no pre-screening as I was promised. I was never told this by my scam sales rep. What's worse, once my phone rings from a potential client, I'm billed immediately. And there's no refund of your payments to elocal. PERIOD! As an attorney, I actually considered filing a breach of contract/fraud lawsuit against elocal in PA. However, because I live very far away and only paid $1,000.00, it wouldn't be worth it. If you are an attorney, I'd seriously consider NOT doing business with this company. You may as well take money and burn it. A complete waste of money. What a scam!

Review: I was contacted by this company and persuaded to pay for a 3 month trial and assured that this would not be a recurring charge and that I would be asked if I wanted to renew. I agreed to those specific terms and paid $360 for a 3 month period. On the 4th month I was not contacted by the company but they took $120 out of my account without my authority. I called them about this and a manager called [redacted] claimed I was shouting and when I said I was not he hung up on me. I have sent an email to [redacted] who is the president asking for a refund, I have left 2 messages, I have reported the fraud to my credit card. The company claims they sent me notice of a recurring charge but they did not.

I want them to refund the $120 dollars and cancel any contract they think they have with me.Desired Settlement: I want my $120 refunded and a letter confirming that they will not attempt to take any more money from my account.
