Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2015/06/16) */
Received return call from *** Elsenpeter (6-16, 11:AM), providing business response
Mr Elsenpeter says that when he first heard from buyer *** that the 4WD on the 'Ram was "stuck", he told *** he'd pay to have it repaired, as per
the terms of a 30-day powertrain warranty Elsenpeter provides
He says he told *** to take it to a local repair facility, and then have the repair facility give Elsenpeter a call with the diagnosisIf it could be repaired there for a reasonable price, Elsenpeter would simply pay for the repairsIf not, Elsenpeter would tow the truck from Duluth and have it repaired elsewhere
Mr Elsenpeter says approximately one week went by with no word from the repair facility, until he received a call from a mechanic at *** saying truck repairs were complete, at a cost of about $
He says Elsenpeter was fully prepared to pay to have the 4WD fixed, but that *** performed additional work (valve cover gaskets, etc.) that he would not have consented to -- that he was not given an opportunity to authorize these or any repairs before work was performed(He says his own choice of repair facility could have done necessary repairs for $- $650.)
Mr Elsenpeter says Mr *** of *** has sent him numerous faxes and e-mails about collecting the $1400, but seems unwilling to discuss the matter otherwiseHe acknowledges that he has become unresponsive to Mr ***, as he feels the interactions are not productive at this point
Mr Elsenpeter says Elsenpeter Motors is comfortable paying for a portion of the $invoice, but does not feel it should be responsible for the full amount, as it was not given an opportunity to authorize or decline repairs
He says *** is welcome to discuss what amount it considers reasonable through this Revdex.com complaint, but that if it considers $the only acceptable resolution, it can pursue that resolution in court

I am rejecting this response because: The company is still missing the fact that the terms he didn't mention that were on the purchase agreement were never fixed

Hello, with the sale on the Ford Fthis truck was a beautiful truck all around When *** came to the shop he had decided to purchase this truck and agreed to help out with a couple of concerns *** had, we would provide a key, adjust the door, fix a oil pan gasket and
install flares on the truck At the point of sale I wanted to make sure we was extremly happy with the truck and fix any concerns he had On top of these repairs he had ask if we can pay for half of tires that had 50% tread on them, provide a new tonneau cover , fix some paint chips in the doors (which entailed painting all four doors and also fix mode switch for the heat defrost I had done all of this for *** on the fwith out askng for help questioning anything and paying for these repair totaling upwards of $ After all the repairs of complete I received a phone call with complaints on the transmission and noise in the front endWe took the truck back and made sure this vehicle was 110% before it returned to him We did NOT drive miles with it as it sat at the mechanic shop and he test drove it maybe miles Once *** received his truck back he felt it was not fixedIn the meantime he purchase a warranty from Smart Autocare and stated multiple times he was going to bring it to *** ford and they will fix it under warranty we agreed on the terms I would send him a check, floor mat the was missplaced, a vent for his dash and two missing vents in the back this was all completed and he was going to continue with repairs at *** and warranty company *** called a week or so later and said he was deined by the warranty company and there was a bill at tousle for me to pay At this point I have not had any more words with *** because we agreed on terms and I have absolutley bent over backwards for this customer to ensure he is happy and he still is not *** needs to purchase a new truck with a warranty not a fwith 170k miles on it I have attached a picture of our conversation stating he needs to remove the negative feedback because I have done everything he has asked and we agreed upon please let me know with questions and how I can help I am trying to figure out how to email our whole text converastion as wellthanks!I also have bill of sale with the verbage on it if needed as well thanks

Received follow-up response from business via e-mail to Revdex.com, 4-27-17: good afternoon,I am going to try and keep this pretty short,  to start off with [redacted] purchased the truck from elsenpeter motors. at the time of purchase I have helped him to make the decisions we worked on financing and got that all layed out . We then talked about the truck [redacted] had asked for us to help out with tires , fix some paint, look at getting fender flares and get a new tonneau cover due to the one had a rip in it. We agreed to help out with tires and I would also get a tonneau fender flares and paint the doors. once we had this taken care of we brought the truck to our mechanic to look at a leak and the air flow.  We at that time fixed the cooler line on the bot[redacted] of the turbo and replaced the main module / brain for the hvac system.  While our mechanic he did loose the front mat that I bought in the first place but I did garentee I would replace it. During this whole time we had it, I provided a loaner truck to [redacted] and also deliver the loaner to his house and well as met him to make sure he didn't have to drive to rockford to pick up his truck.  Once [redacted] got his truck back he insisted the transmission and front differential were bad.  he then took it to [redacted] and of course they are bad as a bigger dealer they will tell you anything.  [redacted] purchased a aftermarket warranty during this process. myself and [redacted] agreed on I would pay him $550 ,replace the floor mat and provide a vent for him and the warrant company will take care of the rest.  We also agreed that once the product and $550.00 check was received he would take down negative feedback and we would part ways.  Well here we are today because the warranty company denied him of his claim I am responsible for his actions after 100% agreeing we are complete after receiving the $550.00 check ($100 deductible and $450 in [redacted] pocket) vent and floor mat.  Elsenpeter motors will not pay for any further repairs done to [redacted] truck. everyhting has been left up on social media for negative fedback as well after agreeing on all these terms.  Also with the title transfer once I received the title in my hand from the state of mn that take 8-12 weeks to get I turned this is and transferred to ensure everything was done and in [redacted] name.   [redacted] Elsenpeter Elsenpeter Motors[redacted]Rockford MN 55373
