Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Though I did receive a refund from [redacted] , I would like to clarify the facts, as she has attacked my character[redacted] either intentionally lies or can't remember the factsThe vanity is still not adhered to the wall because it was never supposed to beWe have since had another company come out to measure and a cut a vanity top with no problem If vanities can't be measured for tops without being adhered to a wall, then how are there free standing vanities on display all the time?!Her company did several templates/measurements and still could not get the cuts correct; up to and including [redacted] coming here, to measure, and then ***, twiceThe sink was off center and the wrong sizeThe back splash is too big on one sideWhen I contacted [redacted] about the problems, she tried to blame us After several emails back and forth she agreed to refund the moneyHowever, never did until I contacted The Revdex.comI have pictures and our email correspondences, if The Revdex.com would like to see them.In regards to the first two vanities, which were measured and installed by [redacted] of Top Surface, we paid for installUpon inspection, one vanity top was installed with a broken back splashBoth vanities had not been caulked properly and they didn't polish the top back splash(which is visible) [redacted] tried to defend their workFrustrated, I said "it looks like crap" I guess that means I am rudeShe did have someone come out and replace the cracked piece and re do the caulkI find it somewhat disheartening when the two employees whom [redacted] sent to solve some of my specific issues, had commented about some details of ***'s installThey said "This is not how we do this" I guess I should have canceled the third vanity at that pointLesson learnedThis a horrible company to do business withPoor quality work and rude customer serviceNo responsibilityLikes to deny & deflect Regards, [redacted] ***

Our technician was accompanied by a representative of their management company on 9/**/to do a visual inspection for bedbugsUpon the inspection no visual evidence was found, but as per the request of the management company, we were asked to treat the apartment again on good faith to make the
tenant happyAn appt was scheduled for 9/**/However, a clerical error stated it was inspection on the form that the technician had with him, hence the reason why his chemicals were left in the carOur technician called the office and apologized for the error on the order and offered to go down and get the chemicals needs to do a retreatment of the apartmentThe tenant declined and rescheduled an appointment for this morning (9/**/15) to which was completedPrior to this service and Saturday's incident our company has gone above and beyond every possible measure to make them happy using a number of different treatments, including but not limited to Cryonite, dusting outlets/switchplates/holes drilled, etcThe tenant also made incriminating statements to the technician prior to the 9/** inspection that they themselves haven't seen anything in the apartment nor had they been bitten within the few days prior to the treatmentHowever, they felt they deserved some type of rent abatement from their management company for the expenses that comes along with having bedbugsWe are truly sorry that you are unhappy with the service but if there is anything else more that could be done, we'd be glad to do it for youYou can contact our office at ###-###-#### and ask to speak with Janine. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.The company sent an equipped technician this past Monday and resolved the lingering issues I feel it is however important to note that what the company wrote back to Revdex.com as a response to the original complaint contains informationFor instance, we never stopped paying rent nor took any action to do soWe would not have spoken to an exterminating company about that Also, the technicians who showed up with no exterminating equipment never had the chemicals in their car as the company wrote to you If that was the case, we would never have had any issues Every technician that showed up to our apartment apologized for the company's poor administration and encouraged us to make complaints They too were annoyed that they were sent out to jobs they were not given appropriate equipment for.All that said, the extermination process is compete No further action is wanted

The refund has been issued Top Surface contract states no refunds From the very beginning this customer ordered three granite vanities to be self installed, meaning that they provide measurements that we cut to,then they come and pick up cut pieces to install themselves ***,
the complaintant's husband came to our office on several occasions to ask how to do the measurements as he was not quite sure *** offered at no charge to come and do the measurements also on a Saturday which we are closed for measure and install appointments Upon arrival the cabinets to be measured were in the middle of the bedroom, not installed and in a bathroom not secured to wall as required to get correct measurements When the installer,the owner installed again on a Saturday to accomodate customer when *** decided it would be better for Top Surface to install,the cabinet was still not set in place on one installation and the small bATH Was remeasured still not adhered to wall We then fabricated the small vanity and upon arrival to install,cabinet location now adhered to wall resulted in different measurements at this point we then requested the customer to send in measurements and we would drop off another fabricated piece as originally ordered Customer refused and was extremely rude We decided at this point torefund customer against our policy and take the loss of both of the small bath vanities that were made for the customer Top Surface feels that we went above and beyond for the client without ever as much as one thank you received

I don't know if I'm really rejecting this response as much as I'm saying it is completely inaccurate.  They have told me several different stories as to why the problem happened and continued to blame me for the problem.  It was only after I filed this complaint and a posted a bad review on yelp did they actually seem interested in dealing with the issue.  I have attached in text format the email exchanges.  You can read and judge for yourself.  I might have been too hasty in complaining on Yelp and to Revdex.com, however I was pretty sure they were going to blow me off.At this point I think we will get this resolved because I have started talking to the owner.  He has been very nice and even admitted the error was his in the measuring the counter tops.  I still don't understand why the emails I got stated it was my fault and that the counter top thickness they measured is different that what it actually is.

The client has been issued a refund which is what the client requested

The customer emailed the first complaint over the weekend while we were closed as well as not available the Monday following.  The customer then immediately complained to Revdex.com as well as other social media outlets without giving us adequate time to respond.  The customer was responded to on...

Tuesday following the complaint.  Top Surface has offered to rectify the misunderstanding however the customer prefers as our top priority is and has been for over 20 years, customer satisfaction thank youTop Surface
