Ely Management

Review: I recently took a tour of an apartment complex owned/run by Ely Management (Grande Apartments at [redacted]) and decided to apply for it. After viewing the apartment on 2/**/14, I wrote out a personal check for $60 (which included a $20 processing fee for myself, my fiance and my father who was acting as a co-signer on our behalf, totalling $60.) The Ely staff member who collected the check and instructed I make it out directly to him was [redacted] and he did in fact cash my check the following day, Monday 2/**/14. I submitted all required documents and the application/background search release authorization for myself, fiance and co-signer via fax to the number listed on the application, ###-###-#### on Tuesday, 2/**/14 and sent a text message (as instructed) to [redacted] at ###-###-#### to confirm my documents were received and would be processed along with my check. [redacted] responded on this same date and stated my documents were received.This is the LAST communication I have received from [redacted] and Ely Management LLC since 2/**/14, despite my multiple documented attempts to contact [redacted] with the cell phone number he gave me (calls, voicemails and text messages). I also contacted the phone number listed on the Grande Apartment's rent.com page and left a voicemail, and sent a web inquiry via rent.com requesting that someone from the company respond to me ASAP. As I applied to rent an apartment, I would have expected to be notified of a decision (approved or denied) either way, however it has been over 2 weeks at this point and no one will respond to me. The applications I submitted contained very sensitive personal and financial information about myself, fiance and co-signer. I am concerned that this information and the $60 check I submitted were not used for their intended purpose (credit check and apartment application). I am desperately trying to get in contact with someone to ensure my information is safe and find out what my $60 was used for.Desired Settlement: I NEED someone from Ely Management LLC to respond to my numerous attempts to contact them. I need an explanation as to why I have still not received an approval/denial notice or any follow up or information about my apartment application/credit check submitted on 2/**. I am concerned that my information submitted via fax is not safe and not being used for its intended purpose. Need to know what my $60 check was spent on, as I never received any response re: the credit/background check.
