Tell us why hereAs I stated in my previous statement, this customer seems to be confused about what she hired us to do.  She has stated that we were contracted for an entire kitchen remodel project when in fact the contract specifically says we will not be painting or doing any flooring/tile work and not supplying any plumbing fixtures or light fixtures. There is no mention of any plumbing or heating work and no mention of baseboards, window trims or door trims of any kind.  This would not be considered a full kitchen remodel. As I said previously, she was trying to save money and had plans to do some of the work on her own with the help of family and friends. She contracted us to do only some of the work.  As for the vent, I had my licensed heating contractor do the work she requested. Since this was not expected it took a couple days for him to get there. During this time the wall was left open, she and I had multiple conversations about the wall and the vent. Which I discussed in my first response.  In her statement she says my workers removed the wall and vent immediately without her knowledge.  This just isn’t true. If that were the case she would have never even known there was a vent inside that wall.   This customer had me give her over a dozen estimates on the work she wanted done, she had a very hard time making decisions.  These estimates were for a multitude of work with many different variations. I don't believe she's lying or trying to be deceitful. I just think she has confused the agreed contract for one of the many different estimates she asked for while trying to decide what to contract us for.  She says I never wrote anything down which isn’t true. We have a written contract with all the things we agreed upon. To address the licensing issue, I’m a member of the Revdex.com and all licenses are current and valid.  As I have previously stated, this customer has a very simple solution to her complaint. This being, put the wall back up.  Two studs and a sheet of drywall is all that's needed.  This however, is not acceptable to her which is why she had us remove the wall in the first place.  It was important to her to have the kitchen plans remain the same.   Sadly, she's very angry right now and seems more interested in lashing out at my company and damaging our reputation than fixing her vent. I have given her the solution to her complaint but she finds it unacceptable. It’s because of this that I recommend the Revdex.com move to the next step.  I have more documentation as well as witnesses that will prove what I’m saying is true....
