I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
First of all with regards to the inspection report, my wife and I did not get it until just before we closed on the house. Mr. Miller had misspelled our email address so it did not get delivered. Finally our realtor followed up and got us a copy.Secondly, while attending the inspection with Mr. Miller he would point out some issues to me such as the railing on the deck was not adequate height or the ornamental shrubs at the front porch need trimmed. But, he is not going to mention that there is mold in the crawl space! Or the house has crawl space vents on the exterior but, they are not cut out resulting in no ventilation in the crawl space! I would think issues such as that an inspector would want to immediately bring to the buyers attention. Instead of saying well you should have had a contractor inspect it. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of hiring an inspector?Refunding the cost of the inspection is irrelevant compared to the expense it cost to have mold remediation done just because Mr. Miller did not inform us. I just want to make other perspective home buyers know that I do not recommend Mr. Miller as a qualified home inspector.Regards,

Mr. [redacted] stated in the first sentence of his statement “ during the inspection he pointed out a couple of minor issues that could easily be fixed and as a result we purchased the home.”   Please find attached the complete inspection report.  View of the report will show that issues...

noted within were not considered minor. No oral statements to that affect were made to the client during the inspection.   I present an objective picture of the building and visible conditions at time of the inspection.  I suggest the client call after review of the report with any questions that may arise.    Note I have also included a copy of the response to Mr. [redacted]’s email dated 5/28/2016.   Considering the conditions of the home and attention to specific details as noted in color coding throughout the inspection report,  I do not feel a refund for the inspection and associated report is warranted.   Thank you for your attention and consideration.   Sincerely, Ivan L.
